What are your top 5 favorite TASTING strains?

I'm in search of the most scrumdidillyumpcious cannabliss.

Truth be told, I've only been smoking weed for a few years now, as before I didn't really like it. Wtf, right? Idk. I was broken. So, unfortunately, due to the short period of time I've been smoking, I've only tried ~100 different strains. Cannabis has become my passion. It's pretty much what I do, now. I just want to grow some tasty shit next crop.

My personal favorite tasting strains:

1. Gorilla - Unfortunately, it was from a very unreliable dealer and it may very well have been something entirely different, but that's what he sold it to me as. It had the most unique, indescribably amazing flavor.


2. Lavender - I'm not sure how they pulled this off. Phenomenal tasting bud.


3. Platinum Diesel - This is very strange because I HATE diesels. I think they taste and smoke like shit, but this strain didn't have the diesel flavor and it smoked damn good, too. Just another indescribably delectable strain. The platinum drowned out the diesel, I guess. Notable bag appeal, too.


4. Super Lemon Haze - Tasted like lemon pledge. Pretty friggin sweet. 2nd most potent I've tried so far. Only beaten by Kali Mist.


5. Plane Wreck - Afgani x Trainwreck. Get it? It was delicious AND it was grown fabulously. It was in the top 10 most potent I've had.



Honorable Mentions:


Jack Herer - Verrry potent uplifting high. Feel good, wanna go do shit kinda weed, but some of the more inexperienced smokers said it made them jittery and a lil' paranoid.Skunky smell & taste. It's different. I'd say it stinks like armpits and lemons, but just the fact that it's so different makes it worth mentioning. Also, in my top 10 for potency.

Blue Cheese - Very musky taste. Different from most bud, so most folks will welcome and appreciate the variation.




*** None of these strains were grown by me, but I'm confident I know what I purchased, save the Gorilla. That one is iffy.***

1. full moon - highland thai... not koh chang and not meao, but REAL tutti fruity as in that's where blueberry, JUICY FRUIT, and haze get their flavors from highland thai.

2. kali mist - the original that tasted like crushed red pepper and not the possibly thai (haze) diluted version that's just fruity and spicy. i wanted to make a lemon or orange or even licorice curry out of that

3. super cali haze - my freebie tasted like straight up grape juice under HALIDES and not schwag flavor wrecking sodiums! fuck any bitch that wants to call me a liar on that a second time now that i know why my freebie tasted so much better than theirs! the C99 i crossed the fruity booty 1.0 with had hints of grape under halide too, but was just generic fruity under sodium. you want flavor, give your gals full spectrum! argue with DJ shorts if you're thinking of calling me a liar

4. sour cream - i don't like the skunk #1/blueberry euphoric, but generally functional stone that much, but the flavor is awesome even under sodium. there, it tasted like cream cheese with a subtle hint of something like fruity yoghurt. i'd be bummed if none of my cimdy apollo crosses with it are viable... it's have a better buzz if a watered down taste.

5. pineapple - i don't know what kind of pineapple i had and it had more stone than i liked, but it clearly tasted like pineapple maybe with a couple other flavors.

i've never been impressed by blueberry's flavor or buzz, can't stand either of the two diesel's flavors i've tried, could fucking taste lavender like being trapped in an elevator with some chick that took a bath in perfume. cat piss is just nasty. my LSD shorty had hints of cat piss early in flowering under halide but mostly if you pushed your nose right up to the bud. i bet durban poison gets it's name from the dry heaves it induces. i can't stand the taste of licorice, so that doesn't impress me no matter how authentic it is. mexican brick doused in castor oil is really fucking nasty too as well as headache inducing dirt weed no one should ever have to smoke. to this day, i don't like the smell of skunk. it matches the poopoo buzz of afghanicrap and should be AVOIDED and not celebrated. skunks are natures way of saying keep away! LOL

if i never have to see a baby poo, chem, rotting fruit or meat, or hog's breath breath bud, it'll be too soon, but i think i might like to smell some of this alleged wet pussy bud i've heard tales told of.

I'd rate this thread 5 stars if the site wasn't so broken....I'm growing out some chocolope right now, have heard nothing but good things. Skywalker OG, hasn't cured yet but so far smells and tastes very floral. Can't really pin down the other flavors as the floral is dominating. Blue dreamMad Lion OGLemon OG.... ok so apparently I like OG strains.

WOW! This is a really hard question for me to answer. I've been smoking since I was 15. That means I have been smoking for 17 years now, but it was only recently that I started growing from actual genetics that I bought online. Meaning that I had no idea what strain I was smoking for the majority of the shit that I have smoked. Anyways my list doesn't include the 3 best strains I have ever smoked, because I have no idea what strains they actually were. My list is in no specific order either.

Strawberry Cough
Pineapple Chunk
Super Lemon Haze
OG#18
Sour Diesel

The Strawberry Cough and the Sour Diesel were bought from friends and were probably the best tasting out of these that I named. The other 3 are strains that I have grown that I thought tasted really good. I am glad to see Chocolope on this list. I am growing a Chocolope right now that has just started to flower, and I expect big things from this one. And to the earlier post about skunks, I absolutely love the smell of skunks. Real skunks and skunk weed!

ace's panama is supposed to have strawberry phenos and someone here swears by it. i might breed that with even better tasting sounding sour cherry buddha's sister. that was another strain i wanted to breed with the peppery original kali mist for something like a dr pepper. some here really likes cherry pie, and i'm also interested in allegedly trippy and cherry SSH1 X PCK too, though i bet BS has the purer flavor.

grape is at the top of my flavor testing list. i have some stony grape and pine bagseed i bet was forest grown i want to test, i'd like to see if i can still get grape out of SCH or it's cinderella crosses. grape krush is the flavor strain i most want to try followed by old timer's haze and grape stomper. we'll see how hermie prone my CH9 beans are as the extra euphoric described jack 33 is supposed to have a grapes and spice flavor. grape krush is purple too to match the flavor for breeding for both traits. i still have a couple C99 x blueberries to test. i might like blueberry more with an enegetic mildly fruity joey weed C99 better than stonier pure or a white widow cross. if there's one thing white strains are good for, it not adding any kind of flavor to a cross practically.

i'd like to try a few pineapple strains and have pineapple express i'm saving for crossing with trippy lemon malawi gold. i really like the sound of the pina colada pheno of the third dimension. that's a shopping list top 5 strain.

auto jack didn't live up to it's cinnamon girl description. it just seemed like a generic fruity strain. thai x skunk had no tutti fruity either sadly.

lemon is a very common flavor. burmese, hawaiian sativa, malawi gold, jack herer, lemon shunk, lemon haze & others all have this flavor. i like it better than berries any day. i'm hoping i get a both lemony and trippy pheno out of my malawi male breeder hooking it up with a BX, lemon skunk, jack f7, jack's cleaner 2, 25% NL#5 & 75% columbian gold, sweet haze, haze x skunk & buddha's sister at the very least. though cheesy cigar wrapper tasting haze skunk isn't my idea of a flavor strain, but it is potent without a stone ceiling ever, and might add at least a little density to the malawi buds. the buzz from that should be outstanding though in theory. malawi and only 12.5% NL#5 if the other 37.5% columbian gold is legit should be very awesome too in theory.

chocolope sounds like something exotic to check out, but real chocolate thai sounds even better if anyone builds a time machine. melon sounds like a nice mellow fruity flavor to breed with other flavor strains, so i like the sound of cannalope haze too based on my experience with 3 other DNA flavors.

trippy and orange agent o sounds interesting, but the name is hideous. stony and euphoric jillybean is supposed to have creamsicle phenos. someone here pointed out chimera C plus (not critical plus) which they said was a nice cali o. i want to at least try that. dutch passion cali o might be hermie prone based on DP reports in general. nirvana cali o isn't exactly famous either. i'll pass on sweet deep grapefruit etc. though. not liking bitter fruits at all. sweet and sour are nice though.

Im running some f2 testers of tittie twister which is a cross of twisted ape (grape ape X twisted purple) and kakalak kush. I got one Indica dom pheno the first the breeder has seen come up. Really hope it ends up being grapy as ive never had one.

Original Sfv OG, Morrison haze (Doors coffeeshop dont know the genetics), Mango haze, some homegrown Bubblegum smoked 2 yrs ago, a super-duper cheese dom pheno of Big buddha chese...But if i had to chose the SFV or the Morrison...nothing beats the haze taste in my op...always reminds me something i can't describe, it's like having a flavour deja-vu..really something that goes beyond your senses...Magic strains...
Of course there are many other weeds that i should add in that list but i will never know what strains they were...

For one I have some choco thai x pre98 bubba going right now so the real choco thai is still around. And two please stop with all this bs advice cuz the question is your best tasting strain not what do you think is a good tasting strain. If you don't have experience with a strain then dont give advice on it.

Wow Mk-Ultra from Thseeds ?? I just gifted 2 of them to a friend of mine thinking they were crap (they were tude freebies)...Maybe I should ask them back !

yupper, the same ones... look at those genetics my friend, how the eff can you give them away?? lol, very kushy in taste and effect.. probably one of my top 5 grows so far..
