Spicysativa's Cheese Quake Grow

Seems risky to trust the club for stable, good cuts...most in my area are covered in mites and super hermed to phenos. If you are looking for something else to try, have you considered Rare Dankness?? Some their gear looks awesome!
I've had nothing but great results from clones supplied by this particular vendor who calls himself Dark Heart Nursery (DHN). I actually ran DHN's Space Queen clones over a year ago and I'm still smoking on it today. This particular vendor seems to know his shit. He sometimes offers Chernobyl, so if I see it, I'll snatch it.

As far mites, fungus, etc... I just assume they are carrying pests and treat them accordingly before I even plant them in soil. Pretty easy to pre-treat a little clone in a rockwool cube, much easier than a full on plant.

As a general rule, I only deal with vendors who are proud enough of their product to slap their name on it. I steer clear of all the no-name clones. These can't be tracked back to a particular vendor, so who knows what they actually are...

I plucked all the nanners which sprouted, and thankfully have not seen any more since. I'll snap some new pictures soon regardless.

Seems like I hear this all tOo often these days... That sucks, man. Can you attribute it to any stress?

A few things but the thing that I would think the most would be my pruning, I chop the shit out of them right before 12/12 and then I tend to pick at them a bit during the first 2-3 weeks but nothing thats really stressed them into herming before... or maybe it has... I thought maybe it was root bound but I chopped it last night and pulled it from the pot and she had plenty of room left. During veg I had one instance of either PH fluctuation or they were just getting used to the SS and a few looked like hell for a week or 2 but after a few waterings they straightened right out... Their night cycle has never been interrupted, however when hurricane sandy hit they went a day without light and a few cold days/nights into the mid 50's after that due to no heat but that shouldnt stress them out that bad, its interrupting the dark cycle that kills em.. The lack of heat would just slow them down I would think...

I cant say they were grown from seed to where they are now without a single stress instance but its been the least stressful run I've done to date. The AOS hermed and one of my spacedawgs hermed, I had to leave the sd in for now until I see some more because I wasnt sure which one it was because I had them all out with a magnifying glass and I had plucked the nanners before checking which sd it was..... I was so stressed out about the big pink AOS girl, I wanted that cut SOOOO bad.... I'm gonna run a small single cola clone of it in a small pot and see how it turns out, maybe I stressed it.... I cant really say I think I did though... So far anything that JTR is the father of I have bad luck with.....

I still have at least 3-1/2 to 4 weeks to go on the rest of the lot I started this round with an additional cq and aos that I threw in about a week ago that needed additional veg time so I'll see how it goes with them on top of the others that are into week 5 now.

What really sucks about the whole thing is that I have like 60 clones of all these strains/phenos sitting in solo cups waiting for me to pick my next round, the AOS that hermed was my first choice and was literally about to transplant all of her clones into 7 gal pots and get them setup for mainlining..... Ima wait a bit longer...

Tonight I'll get some pictures of the cq's for you and post them...

Bummer, dude. I feel your pain. I can only flower 4 at a time (4x4 area), so having 2/4 plants spit nanners is a real setback. Last round was 4/4, even worse...

We can only hope and wait...

Here ya go:

I was out of town a lot during November so I wasn't able to address some deficiencies immediately so my leaves got a little toasty.

Lookin good Kountdown! How mich longer you planning to give them? How are the trichomes?

Looks like we're at about the same stage of fattening up.

It flat out sucks dude... The other night I went in to my garden to find the AOS I was in love with to have nanners as well as one of my spacedawgs....My last grow had a one of these that I didnt catch and ended up in the position you are, probably a lot worse, every plant in my garden had gotten pollinated... And I can deal with a seed here or there myself, its not a big deal but what kills me and really REALLY sucks when you have an accidental pollination (aside from the unusable seeds...) is that if its a hardcore pollination, they stop focusing on bud growth and focus their energy on the making of seeds so if you think you have some nice dank looking nugs there then you probably didnt get it too bad... Its when the pollen gets all over an individual plant... Getting some on a bud here or there or one branch will only screw that bud up but when the plant gets it all over it completely shifts into seed making mode and you get the shaft real hard.... I can live with some nanners on some dank but when those fuckers fuck your whole grow up like that.... not cool man.... Sorry to hear it and I know I'm not making you feel any better but...... your not alone? How that helps... not seeing it but I share your pain...
Had nanners in some of my aces too, but I think it may have been due to grow room issues... at least that's what i'm hoping now that i'm on 2nd run in flower :) they came on late though and just a few, and i also haven't found anything other than one or two small white immature seeds

I think I've read about enough AOS nanners to know that I will be avoiding that strain. Sad but true... I don't think I have the space, knowledge, or funds to run a completely "issue-free" grow room. At least not at this juncture...

Thanks. I'm thinking day 60. Maybe a day or two longer. I've found the longer I let them go, the more the fruity undertones show up in the smell and flavor of the finished buds. The trichs are cloudy with some amber/brown at this point. I've pulled earlier in past grows of CQ with great results but I kinda want to see what happens if I let it go longer this time around.

Good to know. Today is Day 59 for me, and I think they need at least a few more days.

I wouldnt really even mind if they came on later or only left me with a few sterile seeds but the nanners sprouted at 4 weeks on the nut (no pun....) and I cant take a chance... I found a cheese quake with nanners last night, and after digging into her a little bit I thought I found pollen sacs on her but I'm not 100% but once I saw that I chopped that one, definitely nanners though......... Of course it was my heavier looking one but whatever... I hacked it up... I wish I had another area to let them finish but I have to many other plants in there that I cant take a chance with.... I started with 13 seeds, sexed down to 9 females and now 2 are now compost and as soon as which ever space dawg shows me her bananas, she/he will be to... All I want is 1 keeper out of all of those I started with.... If I get one keeper of each strain that isnt bi-sexual I'd be ecstatic...
