Who fucking cares about some shitty freebies, buy the beans you want when you want fuck the shit freebies they toss in...oooo freebies and fems, freebies and fems, buy some regular seeds do some pheno selection and get some stable shit!!

you're right. beans are cheap. fuck ordering when theres actually something nice to try for free bcuz you can get 10 beans for $1 all day. i forget. and you're right the only way to get stable genetics is to use regular beans, plant em by the pack and select a good pheno.

im not blowing $100 on a reg 10 pack and selecting one pheno. you must be on crack.

Ive bought plenty of beans via pick and mix and gotten winners. i rarely get losers. my biggest pick and mix busts were with breeders who are known to have unstable genetics (ie. GHS)

however ive gotten pick and mix from paradise and dinafem and not had one dud/runt/bad pheno yet.

i got original amnesia (pick and mix...i only bought 1) from dinafem (who only sells fems) and it was a 1 hitter quitter...so much for buying regs and selecting a good pheno. over my grow career ive bought 8 white berry seeds (all fems from paradise) and not one was considered a runt or a bad pheno. all were A+ and grew just like advertised on the site and even smoked just like advertised.

before you come in here and just start telling ppl what they need to do mayb you should do some more research.

you do NOT need a 10 pack of regs to get a good pheno and in my 5 years of growing ive only bought 1 10pack. every other grow i bought pick and mix fems and have had mayb 2 or 3 duds over 5 years which is amazing considering i switch it up and try several breeders.

pheno selection isnt nearly as important (with stable genetics) as you'd think unless you're breeding.

I'm not sure if you just have trouble articulating your thoughts or if you perhaps are not as educated as you believe yourself to be. Please correct me if I am wrong but from what I read you do not pheno hunt? Are you mad? Do you also not take clones and just pop seeds every run? When you buy your Fem'd seeds their not all 100% replica's of the original, no far from it chickity check yo self foo.

You're bloody mad I tell ya!! I never said anything about a 10 pack, fuck you can pick n mix regs if you wish, I would for some strains. I've found dank in 5 and 6 packs of reg seeds.

I grew out 5 Serious Seeds Bubblegum got 4 females of those females they ranged from 65-70 day finisher to 80+ all are dank, all smell of bubblegum (ones minty) but 1 plant yielded bigger, grew stronger, had an awesome high and finished 10 days ahead of the rest (I kept clones of all of them until I finished 1 round, 2 of them made it to a 2nd grow). Of course thats my keeper pheno.... again pheno selection is of utmost importance.

Grojak if u plan on keeping a certain strain for multiple runs then yes pheno selection can be important but for me (who just grows to smoke. not profit) id just buy it. grow it. smoke it. thats why i do pick and mix...so i can try a wide range of strains for little investment.

when i find something that the high makes me feel its worth keeping THEN i may select for a good pheno. but i havent come across what im looking for most yet so the pick and mix search continues.

and im not rich so best believe if i buy a 5 pack of serious seeds for damn near $100 best believe im growing each one out and smoking it. no beans will be tossed because under a 150w light a $100 plant no longer makes growing my own worth the cost once you factor in supplies, electricity, cost of the genetics etc.

so i could give 2 fuks if one pheno takes 2-3 wks longer because i didnt spend the extra money to select the right pheno. by simply letting the plant run its course and harvest/smoke it i'll save more than i would have if i bought an expensive pack of beans just to pick a good pheno. the 2-3 weeks of extra electricity is much cheaper than the extra $80 id spend on the serious pack *for example*

Select the best pheno, and run those clones for multiple generations. No need for constantly ordering seeds that way.

i already intend on cloning. not for the cost of the genetics though...or pheno selection exactly (obviously i wouldnt choose a bad pheno but i wouldnt exactly hunt for the best one i could find either)...more for the yield i can get by doing an SOG grow.

i been reduced from 1200w of flowering power to 150w. so every nug is important. i plan on trying SOG w/ clones in something 2 liter size of soil and going 12/12 from clone packing them in as tight as possible.

so my plan is to grow out a plant...if it seems like a decent one ill clone it...fill in a 2x2 area and let the magic happen.

had to do the same thing a few years back, got flooded, lost ballasts, plants almost everything. Took a while to recover and get back to where I was.

i use to rent a pretty good grow spot. i flowered in a 8x10 room (i didnt use the whole room...just had the 2 600s in a closed off space in the room) and vegged under a 4ft 6bulb t5 fixture.

what happened was...w/o warning and for no real apparent reason...the ppl i rented from freaked out (after i had been there renting for 3yrs w/o one incident) and said they wouldnt rent to me anymore. they knew what i was renting from them for and were ok with it for the whole time up until that point.

i have no idea why they flipped. i have paperwork for my state so it was a legit grow op thats how i first was allowed in (because i had documents showing its ok for me to grow/have bud).


to this day im not sure what changed but now im using a 150w in my closet in my bedroom at home (i "Cant" grow where i am so its stealth style)

so now i gotta get by with a 150w hps for flowering and a 2ft 4bulb t5 for veg and its gotta be enough to go around between my gf and i. so its kinda shitty 2 b honest.

ive never grown on such a small scale. even when i first began growing i started off early with a 600w hps. so its a bit of a learning curve to change the scale of the grow. im only on my 2nd harvest from my 150w hps. 1st time around i only got 1 mason jar full (quart size i believe...the biggest size they sell in packs) this time i harvested a pineapple express i grew under the 150 and im still burping in the jars as we speak and its about 3 jars that are 3/4ths of the way full. so im getting it dialed in. slowly but surely.

i wanna use clones so i can maximize the space under the 150w and maximize the yield by harvesting only main colas. im looking into getting my cloning equipment asap.

yes. idk if this was asked in this thread or not but excuse me for repeating myself.

paradise seeds white berry is pretty awesome in my book. stable genetics. no hermies. had a starburst smelling pheno (yum). finishes fast 45-50 days. loads of trichs. good for day or night smoking. produces both sativa and indica effects.

cant recommend it enough.

its worth it. loves to be topped, fim'd lst'd supercropped. the whole 9. and not difficult to grow at all (mine didnt need any special treatment. i just gave it the fox farm trio as suggested by fox farm and no problems at all...grew in ocean forest soil)
