Anybody ever overdose their plants w/calcium? I use crab shell (great for keeping gnats away) which I mix in my dirt, and other day saw two freakin gnats fly out of 5 gallon bag so I covered every square inch of dirt so if one of those little bastards landed again it would have to land on piece of shell.....I also put a few yellow stickies up, then started mosquito dunk treatments, well, w/in a couple of days I had both gnats on sticky and haven't seen any since but my plants started to all show leaf damage, some way worse than others and after all kinds of research I believe gnats were just a couple of strays as weather was still too warm and haven't seen anything, period. I believe what I've done was overdosed my girls w/calcium, there's lots of it in crab shell has anyone out there ever done anything like this before? I'm thinking of watering in some Epsom salts to see if that will neutralize my issue's which I believe it will, but am wondering how badly I may have stunted things, and when I might expect them to come back around. Some are five weeks in, others are about three and are set on 12/12. Thanks in advance for any help!!!
