My First Grow, ZOMG!

They are looking amazing :D I was always wondering if mine were ok and I just finally said they are if they are, whatever if not. It really is fun to look at the new sprouts, isn't it? They grow so very fast! They look just fine. A watering tip, when mine were that small what I did was use a spray bottle, mist the top a little, and then spray the soil all around until you could see a little bit sitting on the top. But, it looks like you have it down!

Also, what strain are you using? Bagseeds?

unsure of what strain. I'd call them bagseeds at this point although these are seeds that a family friend has grown with 2 years in a row. the weed it produces is apparently pretty chronic although when i asked no one who has grown it seemed to know the strain, so thus it becomes just good ol bagseed.

I dont even smoke pot so i wont be trying it. I think i may even be allergic to it. hah. Im actually just a caregiver for a medical marijuana user. I guess Ill wait till they test it and let me know if its any good. if they were good at growing they could do this themselves but unfortunately they dont have the patience to learn and do it. I garden and grow lots of different house plants so i really enjoy watching them grow :) plus they are kind of pretty anyways.

haha no they arent. the UV light is not really needed but i guess its supposed to make them happier although right now theres plenty of sunlight in the house so theres really no need for it. they are right near a big window in the summer months when its warm so they can look out and see the other birdies out there.

and of course i value my pets more. :D

well i wont be smoking it. Im just growing it for fun. its actually for a medical marijuana user that i'm caregiver of. I just enjoy growing things :D and no, i'm not just saying that because Im on a public forum. i think i may possibly be allergic to it unfortunately. I used to smoke :( but for some reason i have weird reactions now when i do.

im confused ... you dont smoke bud... someone that ur a caregiver to is is a medical patient......but ur the one thats gunna go down if ur caught since UR growing it? ...

I live with the person and Im not sure about other states but in my state you can designate someone as your caregiver. someone who is allowed to transport medicine to and from a "pharmacy" for you or help in any way with your medication. I wouldnt go down for it because i live with a medical mj user and i also wouldnt be in trouble if i had it on me since i'm a caregiver!

21 days into veg!

some plants are barely over the brim of the pot, but tons of leaves while others have gotten somewhat tall.

moved the light up about a week ago because the tall ones didnt like being so close. hopefully this will encourage the shorties to grow the fuck up!!!!


the last picture shows the whole closet. you can see the difference in hieght in that picture pretty well!!


how do they look?

the closet i moved them to is a lot smaller than the original closet i had them in (the white closet), so its hard to get a full shot. hah.

i had to move them because the white closet was in my room and the weather is warming up slowly here and fucking shit... with a 400w MH light in there no amount of fans is going to allow me a good nights sleep. so they had to GTFO!!

3 confirmed females.
1 pretty sure its gunna be male
4 unknown at this point in time.

they seem to be doing pretty good. I switched from Miracle Grow soil to Black Gold. heard of some people using it here. not sure if its better. never had problems with miracle grow but noticed after switching that its quite possible that i have the start of nitrogen issues, so they will be fed today. good thing Im always in my garden because its just tiny little light green at the very tips of a few plants. gunna feed just in case. :) other than that they are doing great. cant believe how well Im doing for my first grow. havent ran into any real problems except a little water burn on a few leaves. this shit is easy as pie. not sure why its so hard for some! :P

anyways pictures.

they seem to look light green in the photos but they arent. just a combination of light and flash.

8 days of flowering!

raised the light up for the first time today so i took em all out and took pictures while they were chillaxin with me.

two have balls. as written on the photo. Probably gunna stick the males outside or something. might as well let em grow bigger and then grind them up in my coffee grinder. lol.
