All i kno is that we are at the turn of the centry like way back in the 1900s when the airplane n shit was getting discovered but more modern so shit from like before 2000 is just gonna look retro just like when the 1900s started n stuff from the 1800s wus lokin funky just go back n look at history so yes and no we are changing but not in that way doe ill tell u this i took some acid n i felt enlighten as fuck so if every one takes some acid round the same time period hey who knows we can probbly have another type of revolution

We absolutely are in an enlightenment age. Look at the advances of technology just in the past 50 years, it's incredible how much technology has advanced and also (very) scary at the same time. The world is very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty, and all forms of life.

Actually I see very little technical advancement in the last 50 years outside of information tech. There hasn't been a major advance in energy, transportation, mining ... the bigs. There has been an ag advance: GM crops ... but the debate is lively as to whether those are a good thing. So long as certain ag giants don't use that to cartelize seed ... I think it's good. Jmo. cn

Thats funny you say that, look right in front of you. What is that?... A computer! One of the most significant inventions ever. Even though the computer was not invented in the last 50 years, its the ADVANCES in technology that made them available to the masses.
And you said energy? haha! Look at all the alternative fuels and new innovative ways of creating energy we have. Just take a look at cars for example. We have cars now that run on the sun, water, hydrogen, electricity, ethanol (fuel made from corn!), they even have cars that run off VEGETABLES. Drop in some vegetables into a tank and you can drive your fricken car. Incredible.
