Very interesting... I always thought that doing it gradually would be worse because we're trying to "trigger" the flowering process, which to me implies that the plant wants a noticeable shift... but I must say your method makes more sense in terms of what nature does! I will give it a shot next time round.
Yes I try to imitate nature as much as I can. I grow the way God intended it to be. I like to think that a lot of people doing this hobby tend to over complicate things and that's when they start having problems. I have nothing but time on my hands and I love this hobby and hope that someday I can make it into a living.

me too i try to emulate nature as much as possible also, i have done gradual timing adjustments, and think this is why people say they get faster growth under 18/6 because when they flip its much more natural to the plant. but with 24/0 my key.

haha and you know what i used to over complicate things like a mother fucker still do somewhat, but now i just dont give a fuck and things seem to be running a lot more smoothly.

Yeah, overthinking is the death of me. When I'm well supplied I can just roll with things and don't get all over-worried like i've been lately... just gotta get through this crop... this time I will keep goin so I have enough for personal supply continuously... I keep doing a crop, then getting mad lazy and smoking it all instead of doing another crop. then I remember to start again when I see the jars dwindling... fuckin stupid...

Exactly, my theory in life is it's not worth getting all roweled up over a bunch of idiots as the world tends to unfold the way it's suppose to...

That's why you need to set up a perpetual grow :D

Yeah, I'm gonna be pretty close to perpetual soon, going to do sog from clones continuously for a while. But yeah, I don't even need perpetual per se, I just need to actually start another crop when I finish one... LOL. But now that I have the mother chamber, i'm going to get closer to perpetual. :)

It's the way to go. I did a little experiment with taking like 15 clones from my mother vegging them for a week and slowly flip them and then flowered and I ended up with a little over 1.25 oz's. I"d really like to get another chamber so I can do another ScRog. Honestly if you have the time to do it then you should it is definitely worth it.

Clones are perfect for SOG. Just make sure you get some variety, so you don't get tired of the same old good shit

I switch my mothers out every 2 cycles and I always have 3 mom's at a time so I have at least 3 different strains at one time.

Yeah, definitely! I am planning to maintain about three or four strains if all goes well... not sure exactly what I can fit in the mother chamber, we will see!

--Oh, and when I have more room I'll prob keep more moms :)

I like it... what do ya do with the old moms? Do you just throw them in flower with the new clones when the time comes?

Yep, what I'm wanting to do is get another tent/room and set it up so I can do more ScRoggin...I want to be able to ScRog 3 mothers at a time is my ideal goal since I always have 3 strains in my rotation.
