cut sugar and fan leaves ...had tooo!!!

can anybody help on this issue....im growing a purple cheese auto ..i wasted homemade co2 from yeast on the leaves and soil immediately my fan leaves and sugar leaves turned curly and crispy...the thing is im 2 weeks from harvest so i trimmed my whole plant while still in the pot....my question is...with the entire plant trimmed but still rooted....can i still go ahead and sit my purple outside in these 45 degree temps to go ahead and bring out the purple??? its a 2 and a half feet plant i can tell its way over an ounce dry...so i got my yield ....can i still bring out the purps??thanks 4 any good info guys

The plant transpires the water from the soil/roots out through the leaves. I imagine if you put it outside in the cold now it would get bud rot pretty quickly. No leaves = game over. Hang it up to dry and dont spray weird stuff on your plants next time right before harvest

no...i made a co2 diy kit and your suppose to shake the bottle every day but i was high and some of the mixture spilled out of the airline onto my leaves and in like 24 hours they started curling...but since i cut the leaves off its looking like a very pretty plant but i ordered that strain for the purple color to come out...people roun here love purple...thats why im tryna see can it still turn purple??

and oh...keep in mind its an auto flower purple mixed#1 with blue cheese and before the yeast it was yellowing heavily from bottom to like the 4th 5th cola from the top...i mean it has no time left anyway

might as well pull it, 14 days early isnt going to hurt an auto, all it was gonna do was finish out the trichs, but they are gone so fuck it, pull it.

Yeah dude I wouldnt risk it.The water goes from the roots,up the trunk,through the branches and out the leaves. If theres no leaves the plant has no way of "breathing" for lack of a better word. Damp bud with cold temps is like a neon welcome sign for bud rot,which if youve never had it is incredibly nasty stuff. It would suck if you lost what sounds like totally smoke-able bud. Plus,the color in purple strains comes from the plant maturing and without leaves it seems like that process would be halted anyway.

ok im posting a pic now of the before and after....but yeah i cut it like harvest but still in pot i forgot to mention i also put about 2 pounds of dry ice in the grow room with it to drop the temps the same night the yeast mix spilled ...sooo that couldve messed up the leaves!!??

well i went ahead and cut it cause the main stalk looks like pale wood with a beige tent but the buds still look fine they just smell like hay...now uum just hoping it still smokes and tastes like whatever purple cheese is suppose to smoke like.....i think im gonna skip the hang drying and go straight to the jars because they feel a little crispy fresh out the pot

are you serious? this is what they looked like after you spilled that shit on them? if so you should have just left it alone. now you have no choice but to harvest cause you have no leaves so the plant has no energy to produce more bud only thing I can see happening with that plant is it will probally start dieing and possibly get mold. better luck next time but your fucked on this crop.

Yah, it looked like it was pretty much done after trimming it. It was okay before! But it's all good...Anyways, a good cure should get rid of that hay smell (and any bad taste to go with it). Happy harvest and holidays hehe!

lmao!!!! im a good grower its just that all this shit was because im desperate to finding out this secret to a really purple strain and all i was hearing was colder temps....the co2 wasnt the problem...it was a dummy move for me to put 2 pounds of dry ice uncovered in a small grow space just to reach temps under 60 degrees...but i know now just to use cold ice water in the last week or 2....on a good note...that f***** up plant smells really good now that its cut down in the jars...umm gonna cure bout a month...
