what is top 44?

i actually grew it once one time and was really impressed. in fact, i even made a smoke report on it. i remember it tasted great , flowered quickly , and gave me a really good high .. not tooo strong though and not to light either,.
anyways, just wondering if anyone knew the actual true genetics of this underrated super-strain? this is one of the small buds i harvested . really the only one at that:joint:

Nirvana seeds does them and the genetics is skunk #1 and the viking strain from afghanistan.

That was the same problem I had when I was interested, was hoping by now they'd have them, oh well......sorry, I've seen them in other sites, I just googled top 44 and found a few sites.

viking as an old school dutch strain no longer been in production for quite some time

I've have read a few things from posts, such as it being an old Dutch Poisterponics strain circa 1989
Viking was bred by Wernard Bruining outdoors in the early 80s, Viking is supposed to be a cross of two plants grown from Old Ed seeds that were labelled #2 and #10. Holland's Hope is supposed to be Viking x Skunk #1, a quarter of the resulting plants turn purple and Purple Power came from that part of the genes. The name Viking apprently came from the fact that it hit's you like an axe.
Viking was a very good strain indoors. In fact those pics above shame in comparison with the heath robinsons indoor plants using side lighting.
Side lighting and waterfarm equals 2 pounds plus per plant !!. Wish i could show you the pics !!
