I feel like 7 would be a lot, at least for me. This is 4 on 4x4 table under 1000w. They are day 10.


Been training the crap out of them. The branches are at least a couple feet long..

Also, 3 runs ago, day 72 of the same strain in 2x2 tent. Using 250w, in pots that were half the size, and vegged in 100w floro.

Been away for a while but I'm back at it!

This is my final grow with my current setup (Homebox L w/ 400w hPS) before I step up to a Dark Room with more wattage

Just became a member of the club today and got a 24" x 48" x 84" tent and a shiny new 400w mh/hps sun ballast. Just dropped 8 bodhi dream lotus beans in a glass of water and will be vegging those out, then flowering 4 (if four females) in 5 gallon DWC. Two seeds have already sunk, it's been about 2 hours.

Other shit in the tent is 4" inline fan, silencer, carbon filter, and 6" cool tube. I'm being lazy tonight, so I got the tent up and a couple ventilation pieces hung, but that's all for tonight.

Insulated ducting works pretty well too, that's what I use.

hmm thought about it! idk if the little tiny bit of ducting i use would do much of a difference though.

Yeah you do need a foot or two to really start working, the longer the better. I have one fan that has 6 feet on one side and 3 feet on the other and it is real quiet. I have another fan with only 3 feet on one side and a hood on the other side and it is still kind of loud. The insulated ducting helps but it doesn't silence the noise. I have seen DIY instructions around here on how to build a box for the fan and I have heard that the insulated box really makes a big difference but I haven't heard one in person.

ya ive seen the diy box your talking about and have never heard it either but it wouldnt take much time or money to build that so it could be worth a try. and ive got maybe 4 feet of ducting total in my grow. 2 foot on either side of the hood.

Here is what im running i have 2 nebula and 2 dutch dragon from paridise seeds a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m tent there have been in the tent for a week under 18/6 400hps for veg then im going to put them 12/12 under 600hps for flower soil is terra/coco water temp 23-26 ph 6.3 what you think?

Great, but I'm still confused about how the fans work....by spinning! Yeah, I know THAT! But to keep the tent cool, or specifically the lights cool? And when ur veggie 18/6 how do you maintain the temp when the lights are off?

depends on your setup! you could use a open wing type reflector and use a fan to pull hot air out of the top or you could use a air cooled reflector and pull the heat straight out of the light and out of the tent. and you dont maintain any temps when the lights go off, the temp can drop 10-15 degrees at night without issues.

Hello,

I am just starting to get ready to grow in my new tent (54 1/2 X 54 1/2 X 84 1/2). It is super cold where I live right now and I am planning on putting the tent in my poorly insulated garage. I was wondering what kind of heating unit would be best to keep my tent warm when the lights are off. I am wary of using a space heater because I don't want to dry the plants out, and I have read that using a oil filled radiator is a good alternative. My only worry so far about using a radiator is it may take up more space than desired.

What have you guys experienced when trying to keep your tent warm? Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

in flower at night i turn thermostat to 74ish in the house but i used a space hearer b4 it works get a digi temp so it stays at certain temps n turns on n off
