Translucent Tupperware

Hey Guys,

I was buying materials for a grow room and looking at the large tupperware containers in the blue and beige colors. One thing I noticed is that they did not seem to be solid and I could see light through them.

Would this cause algae growth in the resivoir nutrient tanks?

I found some black bins and bought them instead because I was worried about that. Let me know for future.

Yes. Any light getting in there will promote growth

It must have been really cheap crap because I have seen alot of grow boxes here made from tupperware and havent seen light shining out in the pictures.
