I guess it sounds like a good enough idea, and I'm willing to play along. But...... what is this based one? Do the trichs on the calyxes give you the best idea of where the overall plant is?
Sure, but I was asking about calyxes. I'm not going to judge if it's done by looking at leaves. But why do calyxes hold the answers? More so than the buds themselves?Let me ask you this... Are you looking to smoke buds or leaves? Trichomes on sugar leaves show up sooner and therefore mature sooner. You could probably find mature (amber) trichomes on a sugar leaf at week 5, but your buds aren't nearly ready....If you were growing tomatoes would you look at the leaves to see if they were ripe?
