If I've somehow over watered I can confirm it by sticking a chopstick down the tube to look for water evidence. I don't really use it anymore since I'm much more in tune with my system now. It's a carry over from the phototron system I once used.cannabiscultivation what are those tubes in the sides of your buckets..? for watering?
Overwatering is caused by watering to frequently. Not by giving it to much water when it needs it. Always water until you get a decent amount of runoff from the bottom of the pots.If I've somehow over watered I can confirm it by sticking a chopstick down the tube to look for water evidence. very true....I put a bubbler in my solutions for watering overnight. and I have no holes in my pots.they look ok man but they also look a little over fed AND a little over watered, ...it also looks like you could really use some perlite in that soil, and that would really help with the over watering, your rootzones really need a wet/dry cycle of sorts, marijuana does NOT like wet feet.
bozo
Why no holes. Perfect watering schedule or not, thats just asking for a whole host of issues.very true....I put a bubbler in my solutions for watering overnight. and I have no holes in my pots.

I wouldnt trust it too much. Or make any changes based on what it reads. Your plants will show signs of pH stress before that meter will. But if you are going to use it be sure to have a scotchbrite pad on hand so you can clean the probes of oxidation before each use. And being you have no drains holes in your pots any buildup or pH issues will most likely be zonal(bottom of pot)where the probes probably wont reach anyways......i just picked up one of those 3 way testers light ph and moisture.
accurate enough to get a general idea of what the roots are seeing
I'd probably re-pot now mate, as its easier to remove the plant if it does get too root bound...I literally had to yank mine out of their 8'' diameter pots after about 5 weeks veg as the roots were spilling out of the bottoms!! I use 7l pots now and even then 8days into flower hey ho..im seeing the roots at the bottom peeking out lolstopped watering for a couple of days, they look perky now
