mm the pot is on the smaller size, that much i know, about a 5" diameter and not too deep (5" tall). For space reasons I don't wish to transplant, and I've also heard a theory that you shouldn't once they're flowering cuz herming may occur... At the same time, if keeping them in these pots will severely limit yield, then i can transplant...

well for a 5 foot plant, i wouldnt use anything under at least 5-6 gallons.

the plants are in day 12 of flowering stage, flowers are developing. The leaves are curling under like that and i'm worried.
BTW, i STILL cannot get the fucking lower leaves to stop turning pale yellow/whitish... I'm losing too many leaves, shit man! Nitrogen deficiency, how can that beeeeeee gyad damnit... what am I doing wrong :'( They're being watered with the correct pH, distilled water. I use like 1/4 nutes on them which, even though they're for flowering, it still has a nitrogen component to it (2,8,4). I alternate giving them nutes, like watering pure one time then with nutes the next, i don't want to nute burn them.
The tallest plant in there is 31" tall.
These leaves have been showing this characteristic for approx. three days now, i noticed another plant doing the same thing...
I don't know what to do, someone help me somehow, they can't just die on me, not after all this effort... :'(
Even though they are in flowering, will roots system still be developing? If so then i'll transplant the bitches; if not then screw it, i can get slightly bigger pots. UGH, why does this have to be so frustrating, i have the worst luck with growing...... Damnit.

i had a similar problem with a couple sativa plants that had made there way into my grow.. they were curling and the lower leaves would turn pale yellow and real soft like leather or something.. i figured the leaf issue to be a PH problem (which could cause nutrient lock out) .. so i made a batch of water for those 2 plants seperate from all the other plants with a ph of 6.0 as opposed to the usual 6.5 that i use for the rest.. as far as the leaf tips curling, i figured this to be a heat stress issue and i moved those plants a couple inches (5") further away from the light... both symptoms cleared up over the weekend.. i hope this helps..

what were your pot sizes like though...? i'll lower the pH to 6.0 but i'm pretty sure that that's about where mine is, and i can't do anything about the heat anymore, i got the fans doing the best they can without making it painfully obvious that there's a frickin forest in my closet

you probably don't have a problem with the size of the pot.
a 1 gallon pot can produce a pretty big plant

I agree. The rapid onset of these symptoms also seems to suggest it is not rootbound.
The symptoms I encounter of rootbound plants are that they just stop growing.

I am having the exact same problem. about three days ago the bottom leaves on just about all my plants went really light green and then died and the next set are starting to do that now.
I am about 3 1/2 weeks in and using about a 1/2 gallon starter pots and couldnt figure out why they were dying (only using ph'd water and soil, no nutes) the leaves are also starting to curl under, though not to the degree yours are. Then i went to water them and just thought to check the roots and the whole plant with roots and soil pulled out in one clump and on closer inspection the roots were starting to grow some out of the top of the soil. Mine are root bound def. and i think thats whats happening with yours since your using the small pots.
That should also be whats causing the nitrogen defficency because if your roots have grown so much that its bound, the nitrogen is not being absorbed properly and the plants eating itself, drawing all the nitrogen from the lower fan leaves.
