I was just wondering what would the results of germinating some seeds, planting them in a large potting container, then letting them grow naturally but keep up on watering and light. Will this be less potent than growing it indoors with co2,lighting,watering systems, etc.? Tips and any help would be greatly appreciated.:?

Im doing that with just one plant. But yeah, with the proper equipement you'll get much more of a yield, and faster.

starting straight with a several gallons bucket to grow seedlings in results normally in killing them by over-watering. this is due to the simple fact that the volume of the pot is harder to control and not filled with roots at point. my personal tip is to start with jiffy pellets. never start with pots bigger the a 1/4 gallon, actually this may still to big for noobs, good suited size for them is to start with 6-8oz sized ones;) most expert growers stick to this size range too:)

and to your outdoor question, some strains do damn well outdoors some less well. and for an excellent indoor grow you need no CO2 really, proper lightning-nutes and care will be just enough.
