The strain Fruity Pebbles...

Thats a great question!
I personally think it might be different from the "Arcata" Trainwreck, because these were regular seeds and not feminised.
I think, but not positive, the Arcata is a clone strain.......and i have not gotten this flavor from any other Trainwreck i've tried, but one did have a very diluted version of fruity pebbles.
Its possible you might find that flavor in a batch of Arcata fems.....but i had never heard of Trainwreck before i aquired these beans in early 2000.....then the strain got super popular and all this hype of the origins and then the Arcata cut, then some stories that Trainwreck meant something like some breeding phenomenon, that certain pollenating of crops, certain years were called a "trainwreck" of something like that!
Sometimes the legend behind a good strain is sooooo hyped up that everyone swears they were the originators of the strain, or they know the real story, or related to the originators!

So i wish you the best on your search.....and if you do find that strain....please put up a post for the rest of us who would love to get ahold of this strain again!

I think it was the syrupy sweetness, mixed with the lemon-limey citrus.....that creates the Fruity Pebbles flavor!
I have done some quick searching on reeferman and i dont think his gear is available anymore... He is still up on the tude as an available breeder but all his gear has ben out of stock for a while... I decided to go through his line up anyway searching for anything with TW in it and nothing (he has about 30 or so strains listed there too)... so if he did have it i dont think we will be seeing it from him but i wont give up on the fruity pebbles till i find something suitable to takes its spot...

That would be a federal crime...
The question is whether or not this is possible, not whether or not its legal.

The answer is yes, it is definitely possible to send clones through the mail and have them arrive still viable. Obviously, it takes a bit of know-how to pull it off, but people do it all the time.

And yes, possession of cannabis plants and cultivation of same are still illegal under Federal law, though as a matter of practice, the Feds have bigger fish to fry than chasing small growers with a few plants, particularly in medical states.

After a bit of further research i looked through 60 reeferman projects with not a one involving any trainwreck genetics but i did find that herbies head shop does sell reeferman beans... seems like with a special cut like that he would of done something with it... or maybe he just kept that one for himself greedy bastard...

Yup. I mail clones all the time. I mail clones ready for Hydro or in soil. I mail full size plants on occasion.

Trainwreck smells NOTHING like fruity pebbles.
This is also my opinion but kona said it was suppose to predate the arcata which most of us are familiar with... a special trainwreck cut from a guy named hippy farmer i believe... I know an old norcal cat that said they would call an accidental pollenation a trainwreck and thus the beans that came from the event Trainwreck... so the Trainwreck is a bit clouded with a little speculation...

Don't know about all that, but my crew was running the Arcata cut back in 03 and I have NEVER heard of a trainwreck that smells like fruity Pebbles. If it does, it's not real trainwreck.

I just started my hunt for the ever elusive fruity pebbles. I used to get it back in VA at the same time I was getting the Juicy Fruit. Very different strains! I've heard rumor that the guy that created it is on this forum, but I can't confirm or identify. Even if he has no beans or any way to get the genetics out there, it would be awesome to find out what genetics it has so a replicate can be attempted. Shit tasted stupid good. Not a kick in the head high, but the taste and looks were just phenomenal!

I had some like this back like 10 years ago. If I remember right the guy called it something like willy fruit man or something like that. It tasted incredible. Its the only bud I've had that has tasted like that...
