Yep, that's the one. Crazy pricing, used to be about $25. Perhaps I need to keep my mouth shut.
Anther forum falsehood. Grow the plant like you would a tomato using common sense methods. Which means getting away from these forums as fast as you can.Hey UB. I heard somewhere that increased co2 in the last weeks of flower prolongs maturing time and reduces eye appeal/smell.
The only way to increase yield is to concentrate on foliage/root production and maintenance until harvest. If you are using a high quality water soluble plant food, the ratio is not that important if it's balanced, which a 20-20-20 or a 12-4-6 is. Where folks get into trouble is using cannabis specific foods that don't contain enough N which induce premature leaf drop.Hey UB
i been reading, watching videos and stuff to educate myself more and more... It's a long ride but i'm loving it... I still haven't get to technical details with science but by observation since I do my own gardening at home besides the cannabis. I'm getting closer and closer to flowering (about ten days from today) and wanted just to check with you what other things I could take in consideration. I was able to take pictures Of my plants and created a thread about it.. this is my thread... https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/603718-6-weeks-zeed.html. I was just thinking of letting them grow after this super cropping aiming for maximum foliage and roots and so far I'm following the pointers of your thread. I'm thinking on continuining using the same fertilizer a 20-20-20 with micro nutrients water soluble formula anti clogging... And as the growth peaks up increase the dose.. I also have a 12-4-6 which I'm considering using after week 4th or 5th.. Or switch em up... Depending what the plant wants... I have try them on roses with excellent results.. But i dont know for cannabis... Anyways I'm wondering what else I can do to increase my first yield on those 3 plants. Thanks maN.
well I just found some good info in your plant moisture problems but still would like some pointers or suggestions on yielding
I run a perpetual and my room is always 1200 ppms. I have never had any of these issues. But, I also follow another ub suggestion in that I drop night time temps to 69, day temps are 82-83Hey UB. I heard somewhere that increased co2 in the last weeks of flower prolongs maturing time and reduces eye appeal/smell. I figure that maybe this is because usually people using co2 increase the temps. My last harvest was 85 degrees on the tops and the tops ended up being spindly and airy vs the lower temps in the middle turned out amazing. This grow is almost done and the tops look wonderful. I kept the temps no higher than 77. What is your thought?
Can't have it both ways - deprive a plant of salts and expect it to retain its leaves.I do have another question about double harvesting. I would like to double harvest this time and was wondering how I would go about flushing then getting back to a nute schedule after top harvest.
Yep, made for tropical plants, and, cannabis is a tropical plant. I like to think of cannabis as a flowering annual, cause, that's all it is. The 20-10-20 with the excellent micro profile is perfect with supplemental Ca found in your water source and/or dolomite. My well water is high as hell in Ca and Mg.I've been using the citrus from JR peters, and I have to say they are much much greener with this than the Flora Nova. They seem to grow some with every feeding really, thanks for finding and posting the nutrients, I definitely believe they are well worth it.
The funny thing is in tropical areas it's almost a perennial. I mean, how many other dioecious annuals are you familiar with? Are there any?Yep, made for tropical plants, and, cannabis is a tropical plant. I like to think of cannabis as a flowering annual, cause, that's all it is. There isn't much of anything but sand in my well water. With a ppm meter it checks in the range of distilled water which is 0-25, and it usually checks at about 6-13 ppm mark. Not sure what minerals are in it, but it can't be many of anything.Yep, made for tropical plants, and, cannabis is a tropical plant.
