Hello guys,
I'm about to buy a DR60 grow tent,250w HPS,4" inline fan,acoustic ducting tape,bio bizz all mix and biobizz Grow,
and 4 11l pots.
Do you think its gonna get too hot in there?
any changes or suggestions?
im gonna get a dimmer so the fan doesnt get too loud.
am i going to need an intake fan or just a hole?

you want a high pressure 4 inch like an rvk and run to a cf and long duct and to have extra power to keep it cool
change biogrow for fishmix
intake will depend if your tent is near an open window to use the flaps on the tent

i have got a dr60 250w hps .. i also use biobizz allmix with biobizz grow , bloom , topmax. my shitty 4" TT fan that came with the tent was way to loud to av in the tent! sounded like a jumbo jet taking off in me bedroom! couldnt be avin that so .. i whacked me fan in me loft which 1 .. no noise n 2 .. not a single smell through flowering as avin the fan in loft it creates negitive pressure in me tent (sides suck in a bit) which im cool with. i use 4 6 n half litre pots which is a nice cosy fit when u top and train your plants :bigjoint: ps.. i live in the uk and even grow in the summer temps go up to 92 degrees f :o not the ideal temps but my original cheese 89 seemed to love it and it came out soooo strong a couple of mates didnt believe i grew it .. but took that as a complement hahaha

I've got a DR60 and heat can be an issue for sure. Your tent has (2) 6" intake holes at the bottom you can use for passive intake or I'm fitting pc fans in these two holes for extra intake help as temps are too hot for me if I don't and my tent is in a closet so not the best free airflow. If your 4" inline fan is a duct fan (usually around 240cfm) versus a vortex-like fan (usually around 400cfm) then you may need an intake fan if you're also using a carbon filter.

I HIGHLY suggest setting everything up as if you have a plant in there (light height and all), and test the temps/humidity. It's easier to adjust these things w/out stress when your grow is not at stake.

Only thing I didn't see was odor control and how's your humidity? I also use a humidifier inside my tent as the lights roast all the moisture out. Finally, using (4) 11 liter pots is going to get crowded, so decide now how you're going to control this (LST, SCROG, etc.). I grow only 1 plant inside my tent and LST her...she's currently in a 5 gallon pot and is filling out the entire width of the tent. Good luck!

A dimmer will make it louder unless you use a variac.
Agree with Zat. You will get 1 or 2 plants in a dr60.

with toppin twice on a plant and some good lst i fit 4 plants in 6.5l pots quite cosy .. veg for 3 weeks then flip em end up with nice juicy nuggets instead of all that shitty popcorn bud u get lower down the colas .. grew some BANGING original cheese 89 on my last grow this way. toppin and good training your never look back trust

Right, I haven't done this yet (my area isn't suitable) but it is something I want to try soon.
Vertical scrog. Hang that 250 in the middle with no reflector. Look on the vertical section on RIU.
