Considering that Michigan is one of the least affected states within this country, the "narcotic problem" you are dealing with is likely out of context to the rest of the nation. You may want to consider yourself lucky my friend ;)

Last year I grew Strawberry Diesel and Aurora Indica Specifically for Hash Bash...I think last years was AWESOME.. I have not gone since college and thought it was better now than then.. I went to Eastern from 94-98 and was at Hash Bash every year....

I don't agree. It is possible for people to have differing opinions, and still want the same end result.

I don't think Dr Bob means any harm. He just has a different perspective on the issue. It's OK to disagree with him on certain things, and still see the value in his contributions to the forum. I don't know him from Adam, but I do appreciate having the input of a medical DR (that has been through medical marijuana court cases) around to answer questions and give some feedback.

I watched Dr Bobs testimony in Lansing. Have you?

He said absolutely nothing that would lead me to believe he is somehow "against us". In fact, it was just the opposite.

I wish there were more doctors like him that were not afraid to write the marijuana recommendations. The vast majority of Dr's out there would have you go without your meds and instead protect their own livelihood.

You have yet to present one shred of proof to back up your assertions. If you can, I am all ears and am open to changing my opinion of him.

There are a couple of kids here, that's fine. I put up an opinion and backed it as to why I feel that way. Stow DOESN'T have to agree, nor does anyone else. We discuss it and go out and have a beer and watch a game together as friends, because that is the way adults discuss issues. This personal crap is just the product of folks that can't express themselves or back what they say, despite the fact they've been called out several times to do so.

Don't like it, learn to use the ignore button. Otherwise learn to run with the big boys.

Learned some good info in this thread. The true intention of growing for me and coming on these forums is to learn and build with my fellow humans. Not just the cultivation of this wonderful plant but the philosophies that are tied with gardening period has gotten me through a lot. I grow and celebrate (farm tours and festivals etc) a lot of vegetables for my community and my self. I grow and celebrate my medicine....... Not sure if you dudes are up on the urban gardening in Detroit. But anywho; Great dialog so far even though the topic has swayed to educate certain individuals who thinks they have the right or right title to evaluate and prescribe every ones personal conditions.
