Outdoor grow with clones

I was just wondering if there was anyone out there who can answer my question. I want to start a outdoor grow using clones. I have done many outdoor grows using plants from seeds but never with clones. Well My question is do clones have the potential to grow as big as plants started from seeds? I have grown some plants that have grown to well over 12 feet using plants started from seeds. Will clones also be able to grow as big?

if it's a type that grows that tall. if thier fully rooted, they'll do it faster than from seed(head start).

Hillbilly thanks for the info. I thought that since they were cloned from a branch they wouldn't grow as big. Now I know. I have about 60 cuttings in my aero cloner and I want to litter the country side with them. i guess with about 100 or so even if 10% only make it through the season it would be worth it.
