SuperBud easy to grow?

Hey guys, I'm new here and was wondering if anyone had/has experience with GHS Super Bud. Is it an easy grower for someone fairly inexperienced? Also, for anyone growing indoors how was the turnout? My set up is 60x60x80 with 600w dig ballast MHC(veg) & HPS(flo) bulbs. Have the fan&carbonfilter as well. I plan on starting 10 seedlings and choosing the best 4-5 to grow, ultimately ending in 3gal pots. Thanks :joint:

Thanks for the input, I was actually questioning 3 or 5gal myself. I just didn't want them to be too crowded. I also plan on using the SCRoG method. After seedlings switch from dixiecups I was going to put them right into 3gal, should I still follow through with vegging them in 3 then transplanting to 5 at flower?

Be sure to sex the plants before letting them entangle in your scrog screen that would be a pain getting a male out of there. I go dixie cup to two gallon, I sex them in the two gallon, throw out the males put the females in the 5 gal wait three days and train the piss out of them. Thats just my method I'm sure there are better ones this is just what works for me. It sounds like you are gonna have a nice set up, maybe a journal?

Yeah I plan on getting pictures up here pretty soon. Just waiting for a couple missing puzzle pieces and we can get this show on the road! The seeds I ordered are feminized btw

Sweet, feminized should be a nice grow. I wish I had started a journal for my last grow it turned out to be a bumpy road unfortunately.

Heyo!

I can't offer any input to GHS, never ordered from them. But in terms of pot size I've found for indoor spaces those 4 gallon square buckets with a few holes drilled in the bottom work awesome. The square buckets save a TON of space, which may come in handy.

Oh and good luck choosing the 5 best, I had the same thought, then when all the babies popped I couldn't bring myself to toss any... So a jungle soon followed.

Well happy growing and I hope your tomatoes are fucking huge ;)

Container size depends on how long your going to veg for. take the number of veg weeks and add 2 the round up to nearest pot size

1 month veg +2 = 3 gal pots
6 weeks veg +2 = 3.5 gal pots round up to 5 gal.......5 gallon pots are nice if you can find good nursery pots or smart pots. 5 gal buckets are too tall to be efficient indoors. in my opinion

Thats good info def using, good looking out Matthebrute. In terms of 5 gals being too tall, I thought marijuana root systems grow further down then out, so say a 5 gal that's taller and narrower would be more efficient for root growth than a short and fat 5 gal, correct me if I'm wrong though!

i couldnt tell you that man, i just know a normal 5 gallon homer bucket is somewhat tall and it will cut down on the vertical size of the plant as you will run out of space faster. a shallower container will allow you to grow the plant taller thus increasing yeild.
