Do you not understand the difference between SSI and SSDI?

SSI is for disabled people who have not earned work credits to qualify for SSDI, so it is for people who have not worked and it is less than SSDI. SSDI is for people who have worked and become disabled. My statement that SSI is for people that have not worked is true you degenerate dumbass.

SSI is also used to supplement SSDI recipients income. The ridiculously long wait periods to begin receiving SSDI make SSI necessary to give these people some sort of income. These programs are needed for people who have worked all their lives and get cancer or whatever. It is ridiculous IMHO to attack these programs when there are soooo many better places to cut. We should cut programs for disabled and elderly as a last resort. Cut food stamps, war spending, foreign aid, regulatory agencies, federal incomes, corporate welfare, etc before you even think of cutting these programs.

This is tax money going directly to the people at least, instead of paying for some drone to kill some poor bastard overseas.

Absolutely a LOT of Deaf people are rude. No doubt about that. There is also an entitlement bug floating within the community but the pen and paper thing... I wouldn't be so hard on us for that but the shouting is uncalled for. Keep in mind... earlier I stated that most deaf people (note the little D) don't even know sign language. Hard to comprehend but it is true. Either way, if someone grabbed my hands, Deaf signer or not, I'd have kicked their asses. Being Deaf doesn't mean they are exempt from a good old fashioned butt whooping.

BTW, badass that you know some sign language. I definitely want to thank you and applaud you for it. Same goes for ChesusRice (if she actually knows any). I would definitely be a customer of yours whatever it is that you have in your store. Chances of me going to bumfuck Sacramento aren't too good though. It's fucking Sacramento.
Lol, Chesus is a woman now.

Too much lol, epic.

That is a worthwhile observation you make, it is better in a "less evil" sort of way to use the proceeds of involuntary taxation to feed people rather than kill them.

If tax money is best "going right to the people" what is the purpose of adding a layer of bureaucracy and taking the money in the first place?

You are right, it is still immoral. However, to argue to cut this system before others that are even less efficient is silly to me. If we cut spending in other areas first, maybe we can cut taxes and lower price levels through ending expansionary policies. This would put more money in peoples pockets and they could be able to save for their own mishaps/retirement. Is it immoral for the people to petition the government to get the money back that they had paid in? It isn't the peoples fault that the government has buttfucked them into welfare.

then we run into the extraordinary hypocrisy of the right, bailout the banks that contributed to the recession, but fuck the disabled and elderly people who can't help themselves due to no fault of their own.
