If I have 2'x2' by 4' tall grow area. Can I cool down by connecting an AC duct to it? I know it can get hot but I want 100 watts per square ft. I will have a tower fan circulating cool ac air I connected via 4" ducting. It is winter here and stays cool for at least 4 months. Will it get too hot? I like soil. Also would you do 6 plants in one gallon containers or 4 plants in 3 gallon containers? I'm good with bonsai LST style. Also what fem seeds should I use. I'm without a doubt using these 3 RP kandy kush, rp headband aka sour kush and rp OG #18, I took a pic go verify I'm bout it. Got them as freebies from the Attitude seeds. They gave me a double freebie for the 3 listed strains cause FREEDOM seeds freebies where dry with cracked open seeds. So don't blame them for bad seed it must be the breeder. Never ordering auto strains again. I'm convinced they do better outdoor in soil. But for strain number 4 which should I choose? Dinafem white widow fem, TH seeds Buku" fem burmese kush" or Nirvana Papaya fem?
I promised Attitude a good holler they WILL take care of problems don't mention germination in emails. Say things like not collectible. Anyone can chime in please? if your an asshole that claims what I'm doing sucks to bad I'm on a budget so don't reply. I don't care bout yer hydro 1000 watt knowledge. I can handle other plants besides cannabis. I'm good with melons, corn , tomatoes, vegetables etc... I have done great patio grows but now indoors I moved. Welcome chicken choker. Wow that's a lot of information to process by stoners, LOL. Yes you can use an AC duct to cool it but you can also just duct the hot air out of the top. A 400w is not that hot for winter and you can suck out the heat to help heat your house if you have a cool tube. You wont want to do that if the air is coming right out of the box where the plant is because it will start to smell very soon.

Thanks dude. I'm throwing a bag of activated carbon in the ac unit where it sucks up air. That's what I'm doing to heat the house whilst its in the open. At the end of 12 hrs I tuck the flowering babes in a tall box stowed in a closet. I cook almost always so people think of food and not buds when I get unsuspected company. Even the maintenance man wanted to go to lunch while bringing in my new fridge. I was paranoid when he said" dam that smells good." Texas toast yummy good for canna butter too. So I knew it was the food. check my profile is the satori close? Its a sativa Dom but looks funky I never seen her this color. Looks bluish is the cold weather? Makes me think she is almost done but a bunch of white hairs still? I'm finishing her off the last one 5 weeks in. View attachment 2460888before I start my 2x2 box.

Nice plant! Very beautiful flowers on it and healthy too - especially for finishing. Activated charcoal works great; I made a homemade unit that worked very well. It's always good to mask the smell too, with food, coffee, candles, etc.

Eh pimp I seen your journal the church from GH is it worth buying? I tried lady burn 1974 from gh was awesome great for LST. I did a run with lady on my porch last year nice tropical scent was a freebie too bongsmilie. I'll post a pic when I can find the memory card . The church is a good price wouldn't mind dropping a few beans outdoor come spring and save a few of course I'm a seed whore.

Still can't decide 4 or 6 plant run. Also what does riu have to say buku,papaya, or white widow for the forth plant. If I do six its gonna be all minus the doubles I got from RP.

Im in a 5 ft tall x 36 in wide x 20 in deep cabinet i do have to keep the doors kinda open with a blanket over the front and a fan blowing air in till i make my cool tube setup ...so if u buy one id get a 400watt dimable one like i did so u can turn.it down to 200or300 watts to make it cooler if needed..i got 4 ladies in there but its crowded im gonna scrog two my next grow

Eh danno on your set up...what is the average temperature? Looking good I'm able to vent ac to my set up. Trying to keep it around 70-75 degrees average 80 at most. Lookin good Danno me likely. Wish I could afford dimmable ballast :cry: . Happy new hear everyone.

I just hooked up a 400w HPS in an exhausted hood, in my 3' x 1.5' a 5'h cabinet. The hood was set up for 6" but I adapted 4" fittings because I'm so tight on space.

I have a 4" vortex doing the sucking, it's on a speed controller on fairly low, sucking like this: inside cabinet with passive intake. The can9000 filter, tubing, vortex fan, tubing, hood, tubing, out...

Sustaining about 82f a foot under the light. Humidity is an issue, the light eats it. Also I'm in a very dry basement. Bought a large vornado today for the entire room, after a couple failed internal humidification attempts. Just for reference I'm at 35% humidity where the air enters the cabinet, and 23% about a foot under the lights, crazy. I did buy a dimmable ballast just in case, so I can drop to 250w.

Another thing that may help is run your lights on cycle at night. I'm going to do lights on from 10PM to 10AM.

I get bout 85 peak myself with light in a corner with tower fan the room is real cool with out light running. So I think when I connect ac to it things will cool off. Especially when I have so many BTUs running into the cube.

I only had one bean and it was a freebie. For some reason it didn't make it. Out of about a hundred autos and 16 or so regular plants, the church is the only one that didn't make it; not sure why she didn't.

Doesnt stay that hot all the time I can get it down to 80 wait til the cube with ac is set up. Also here is a lil satori I harvested 10 days early from the 8 week marker. Only cut three branches letting the rest ride out. Til let's say week 9View attachment 2466809
