There's no way they could say he did that if he didnt. Every second of police stops are on video now. This story wouldn't be put out there if they don't have proof he did this shit. What a retard.

This story stinks like most chanel ten stories but this one stinks worse. nothing on video? No real reason for stopping him (aside from him being Danny) and after he rammed them he just "sped" away for a few blocks then stopped again??? so was that an attemt to get away or just get a little further down the road? he refused the breathalyzer....but was arrested so what was his BAL? Did they take blood later and find out he was drunk/sober? I get the distinct feeling he gets harassed and I also get the feeling he helps them along by pissing them off a little extra.

Unfortunately, he is the face of medical marijuana in Michigan to some.

How many here are proud of that? So why are you going to his stores and supporting him financially?

which stores are his? no one has given me a clear answer really. just wondering, i haven't been to most in lansing, just a couple.. starbuds i stopped into a bought a nail, they a an okay selection it seemed. overpriced though lol

Um...few choices and not that many willing to stick their dick out to run an operation like that getting patients meds. I get where you come from doc but we don't have alot of big-balled guys out there risking their shit for the people like he does. innocent til proven guilty. I wouldn't pick his face but I won't be all cool with him getting butt-banged by the police either. I don't see this going down as they said it went down so I wait for the video (whick if it proved him to be what they claimed I think we'd have seen already) I have a hard time being a hater from the sidelines, call the QB a tool from your couch if you want to but what's the point if you can't throw a pass yourself? I like you bob but I often ask myself if you're a lawyer or a doctor...

Doctor - we have to use logic just like the lawyers do. We also study and analyze information and understand preventative health. So when I read the 19 page ruling from Danny's case (or more accurately his employee's case) it is pretty easy to understand. And pretty easy to figure out good suggestions to keep patients safe.

I don't like folks running afoul of the cops either, but he hurt the community in my humble opinion with his antics and practices, we lost respect in the eyes of the general public. But I'll let him see this latest headline through. Not my concern. It isn't like he was giving free certs to cops with no records and no doctor visit if they'll agree to buy cannabis from him. Oh wait, he was according to the ruling. But this is somehow different.

Good answer doc, no disrespect intended, I relish the role of devil's advocate and would prefer even obvious douches like Danny go free; their business practices will be their downfall anyway. If he gets one patient one bag of medical grade pot then he is doing something right but yeah the behavior is far from ideal. I can't throw stones tho, I got all the ideas and intentions to do well but none of the balls with a family and kids so I need the Danny's of the world and the good fellas at the GC3 and the market guys and the dispensaries to do what I am afraid to do. it IS a shame he ends up looking like an asshole but we're all federal criminals anyway, right?

No worries man, I didn't take affront.

I don't like see folks in trouble either, though some do wrong. Hate to tell you this, but it was a risk doing what I do even though I really believe I do it legitimately. Might miss out on 10% of the income by having standards and doing things properly, but what price is integrity?

The thing I hate is when folks are in your face with really marginal practices, which can easily leave the impression we are all a bunch of gangsters pretending to use this medical and 'get one over' on the authorities. To be accepted we have to be respectable.

One stroll through a place he was a partner in Old Town Lansing and I'll never be a patron of his ever. Very low grade product and a total ass running the shop. There will always be opportunists out there selling crap and trying to pass it off as medical. I try not to be an idealist as I find that futile. Danny doesn't make patients look bad, that shits on him. Beware of anyone that names a strain cockstar.
