Alright guys, here we are just 3 hours shy of 21 days since the beginning of germination. It's been a bumpy ride so far for these little girls and it does not appear to be getting any better.

We've got...discoloration...curling...stunted growth...crispy leaves...the works. The best thing I can think to do at this point is either water them with some epson salt action or flush them out. Check out my grow log for more information (too much to list here).

Basically what I think happened was...way too much heat in the beginning combined with high pH in the water...somewhere around 8 - 8.3 . After I fixed the issues things seemed to turn around but I believe now i may have some of this "buildup" that is preventing my plants from taking in nutrients. I could be completely wrong here but this is my first grow and I can only make these assumptions based on what I have read while researching common plant problems.

Can anyone back me up on my theory? Or provide me with another sound theory?

P.S. Pictures are kinda shitty due to me using a different camera this time. I tried twice but still could not get them to look better. I do believe though that they are sufficient to help with a diagnosis.

There are a few fans, I just took them out of the cab for pics. Here i included a picture for you. And I would say I water them every 3 days..maybe 2 and a half. I have let them go longer to see if they perk up, no dice. I also at one point stepped the watering up to 2 days for a few waterings and that also did not seem to make a difference.

Im in my first grow also so I cant really say but they look like mine did when my water res didnt have enough in it... after adding the water and getting my ph and ppm back to good they perked up... I posted pics of the whole ordeal. take a look and see if it looks familiar. also I think your ph may be a lil high.

I don't know the answer, but I think you should focus on the heat/light intensity side and not the nute side.

The only time I've seen my plants looking exactly like that is when they got a little warm in the cab - 90 degrees at the peak for a few hours each day and the light was a little too close - 10" or so. I changed both at once and it got better so I don't know which it was, but your lamp seems at a proper distance. I bet heat - with maybe a watering issue caused by that.

Also, have you feed them anything yet?

After further examination I would be willing to put my money back on under watering...i have been trying a dry out period again the last 3 days and things are getting worse tonight...i gave em a big ol watering (soil was VERY dry, cracking...very light) I also decided to move the light up another 10 inches or so just to be safe. The first time I grew some bagseed I had them under a shop light for a while and they honestly looked better than these guys at the moment

After i realized i had a crazy pH going on i did give them a few days to recover with 6.3 water followed by a 1/5th strength veg nute feeding to try and boost them since i thought they might have been locking out the nutrients. Other than that it is straight ph'd water

Thanks so much for your help
