What is the difference between these two 4 foot 8 tube T5 systems?

Neither of those specify whether or not it's a single piece reflector or individual reflectors for each bulb. That is one of the most important factors in choosing a t5. But the one from amazon comes with bulbs, and the other does not. 8 bulbs can be pricey, go for the one the includes them, though they're probably crap bulbs anyway.

^^ so when you were talking about the reflector do you mean wether the system ass a whole reflects all the light or if each tube has its own reflector encased around it? is that kind of what you meant?
