My worst nightmare came true last night.

All right. I went in there last night and spent about 45 minutes combing over each plant. This crap is very time consuming. I was in there for 7 hrs and not near done. I have been extremely thorough. The Kandy Kush isn't that bad. I removed anywhere from 1 to 15 immature pistols from each plant. Much to my dismay the 2 white fire og's in the room had fully developed pistols on the underside. I couldn't see it until I cut my mesh netting out of there and inspected the underside of the plant. Each white fire had about 30 pistols and I would say that at least 10 of them had opened on each plant. I still have at least half the room to go. But the good news is the Kandy Kush is further behind in the development of the pistols so I should be able to cover the rest of the plants before the pistols mature. Do any of you guys know if the seeding is going to be bad from 20 or so pistols breaking open in a room 3 weeks from the end? I can handle a few seeds on each plant at this point.

Had to do the same thing this grow. Still fire shit but I grew up with weed that only came with seed lol. And it was maybe 1/2 as potent. Plenty okf good advice above. If u don't mind a few seeds I wouldn't stress at all personally just be thorough when ur checking em over for nanners

If u had that many nanners burst your definetly gonna see a fair amount of seeds. Nothing I'd stress over personally. Can to anything to stop the seeds now just keep plucking and realize there are children in Africa with no weed at all

I have some good news guys. It took me 3 day to cover the room thoroughly. I went in today and I only found one that wasn't formed. I plucked it. I may have missed it the first time. Anyway, I don't think any new ones are growing and if they are I haven't found em. I am praying for the best. Other than the power outage the plants have lived a stellar life. They are under 1000's, 5 gallon smart pots, fed the Advanced Nutrients grand master series, highest temp ever recorded on the environmental controller was 80 and the lowest temp was 58 and I don't use a heater. I insulated the room well. Humidity stays between 45 and 55.

Day 44 with 2 days of darkness so I'm calling it 42 days of 12/12. The strain is Kandy Kush (Trainwreck x OG Kush). It is a 63-70 day strain. Smells exactly like cotton candy. Anyone who has ever grown it will tell you the same. It doesn't even smell like weed at all. Just cotton candy. Anyway the plants are loving it. Here's a few pics of the ladies... This is a pic of Cherry Pie. I have two of them and I cut the lights back when they were right around a month old. So they aren't near the size of the Kandy Kush. I can't wait till I get to try it. I have the strain but I have yet to sample it.

i would be more worried if the light cycle was extended - prolonged dark cycle won't be as bad. I bet you will be just fine.

One option I think works well is to use a water bottle and squirt the nanner, that kills a lot of pollen and keeps it from flying around If it busts open as you pull it out. I'd say its late enough you don't have a ton of worries so don't pull the whole plants.

Thats an excellent idea. all of you guys have been a big help and I appreciate your efforts. I will definitely apply that method if I see anymore. I was already doing something similar. I had a cup of water and tweezers. Every time I pulled one the tweezers were wet. While in deep thought I even considered mixing a little rubbing alcohol in the cup of water but I decided it was too risky...

Just be positive room humidity is low, it's important that water evaporates fairly fast
