i kinda tend to think that he's just a good guy with some money, and just wants to spread the jolly.*

i also think that he has gone beyond just spreading the jolly with his gift to FDD's family. he's honestly doing what many of us wish we could do. i sent a few dollars FDD's way and plan on sending a little more, but i could never do what scooby did.

he makes me jealous in a good way. if i ever have more money than i know what to do with, i want to help good people with it, or at least amuse myself doing good deeds for others.

My thoughts are that this is a truley amazing gesture to one of our fellow grower's in need of some help. People like scooby are who give us, not so fortunate or lucky in life to have some inspiration and motivation.
Maybe it could have been done another way instead of the thread which is bound to stir up somewhat of a shit storm. But i find it very heart warming.
