im looking for a good auto strain that grows well in the uk climate, a friends sweet cheese did good and i will be doing it this year but i want more, any suggestions?

i'm as far south as you can imagine, the summers just arn't what they used to be.

I have grown nice plants in Denmark and we have similar temps and wether, if anything our is a bit more cool, if you start em inside in april (Im talking Reg seeds) and plant em out in may they have two months of Veg. before 2-3 months of flowering if your lucky and you hit a summer with many clear Sun hours you can easily grow 1 pounders if you do your home work, if your looking for a Auto or a fast finishing "auto" look in to Iranian Auto`s have heard a lot of good stuff about them, atleast go for a pure Indica or Indica dominated strain, they adept and thrive much better in less hot wether then Stavias

When i was last in Amsterdam, i was chatting to the guy's in the sensi shop. THey suggested one of their auto strains performs really good outdoor in our sort of climate, as theirs is close to what the UK gets if not worse. I just don't think i would attempt it as long as i have my indoor garden

3 sweet cheese autos in the uk got just under 5 oz naturally and it was nice, autos are worth doin in my eyes u can get 3 harvests a year if your good

yea our wether in norther Europe is not the best for weed, but can be done, one thing we have in our favor is long day`s, so even tho the Sun is`t as strong and aint out as much as Etc. spain we have long day`s in June/July we have only like 5-6 hours nights and our "normal" summer temps 70-80F is actually perfect, just have to pray that most of the watering is at morning/evening or provided by you and the Sun is out a lot, pic the right strain and do some preparing of the soil in a nice sunny place and nice big healthy +2 meters plant is quite possible

What about rain/mold, cold temps at night? they seem to be striving!

yea night temps is sumthing you need to keep a eye on, might have to cut a little early if you expect early night frost one year and pic is of a gorilla grow, not much more then clearing some ground and spreading some seeds have been done, a more sunny place with a super soil mix will give you even better results
also why I use to start em inside a bit early, to have nice small Veg plants ready to plant out when whether allowed it (made the summer a month longer so to speak)
live in the city now in a apartment, so I can only grow indoors now

ruderalis grows in Regions of Finland, Sweden. I'm pretty sure. If I lived over there I'd be going on a little road trip
with 2 stops in Amsterdam

iv been doing auto grows in the uk for a while now and heres some of my favourites, these all yield well with and decent smoke and also have great bag appeal if you need that:
breeder/seedsman/strain/auto great white shark/yield/10-20g depending on how much preperation and effort you put in/smoke/
typical white strain, starts off heady but quickly goes into a strong body stone/other notes/very sticky and smelly
breeder/G13labs/strain/i use all of the autos they do, blueberry,nl,ak47,diesel,pineapple express/yield/ it is fairly similar to one another generally around 15g/smoke/all very good the best of all the autos iv found, imo i like the ak47 the best/other notes/ if given alot of sun you will end up with rock hard buds.

try find a warmer area between bushes or hills maybe and get a good lighted area

Trust me, that's going to be hard to find. 7c weather in august and September with damp weather. I'm not saying it can't be done, just very hard.

get some perlite in the soil for drainage if you can and polythene tunnels if you can hide them
