hey mate im from oz to , and have an outdoor grow in nsw , would you know what month they will start flowering and when they should be done by? im having a had time finding info relevent to me
hey mate couple of questions as my plants have the same deficiency , is the cal and mag in the gypsum and dolomite lime or do you add that in aswell?I prefer using Gypsum for in the ground plants, as it is very easy, is fairly ready for uptake to use and doesnt change soil ph. I would use 3:1 gypsum to dolomite lime and spread 2 cups evenly around topsoil (2 ft diameter) and cultivate in top 2-3 inches. Watering it in will help encourage the microbiological processes of making the minerals easily available and ready to draw in by the plants.
have you started feeding them yet? after adding Cal/Mag to your soil..... it will increase the amount of potassium used.
Your in Australia, and my guess is thats comparable to early-mid July here, which is when I notice plants in the ground here need a soil "top-dressing" with the full assortment of organically available nutrition to supplement what is left in the soil and encourage a continuously healthy root zone environment.
hey mate, they should start flowering anywhere from now until end of feb. should be done around easter depending on the strains and all that. goodluckhey mate im from oz to , and have an outdoor grow in nsw , would you know what month they will start flowering and when they should be done by? im having a had time finding info relevent to me

My 3 babies all turned female and started flowering last week can't wait.
Bring on march/April
Good luck with the rest of your grow.
hey mate cheers, yeh pretty sure i have some of that stuff in the shed. might give them a go with the seaweed extract. ah no good about the male! theres always next year.for my outdoor grow - ive been using a combination of Seasol and PowerFeed, you can get them at bunnings or a nursery - also chuck on some chook poo every now and then for an extra boost.
you can also get some pretty top end composted potting mix from bunnings
unfortunately, my one planting turned out to be a male (posted a thread on reddit about it - http://www.reddit.com/r/microgrowery/comments/166dph/think_its_a_boy_can_someone_confirm/)
however the little green lacewing bugs i bought, see my earlier post, have been chomping away on the whitefly in our veggie patch - pretty happy with them. there arent many whitefly left now.
Hi all,
Just wanting a second opinion on the health of the leaf below:

It is only the bottom leaves and its on the side of the plant that is struggling because its not getting the full day of sun (paying the price on yield for stealth). Only concern is that I do have a bit of an aphid problem, as well as those little brown spiders, which I kill onsight as well as mist the plant at night (sometimes with pyrethium). Overall the plant is growing well and looks pretty healthy:

But any tips, thoughts would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks for the tip, but didn't get much of a response in the plant problem forum!hey man sorry about the plant its still looking nice though! dunno what the problem is but if you post in plant problems forum you will get a better response, cheers
Thanks, that's definitely something to consider as well.i copped a few of those leaves. I Put it down to the heat we've had
Reading through this thread, it's like you had the exact same dramas as me (in relation to the bugs and what I now think is cal-mag)... only your plants have come out a bit stronger!! I am very intrigued by the Cali Connection Budha Tahoe strain you have growing...
Anyway fkn awesome pictures... What will you be feeding it during flowering?
