Caught me! If I was single, I'd do my time. But going away for 3 years when I have a wife and kid(s), over some plants? Plus knowing I'd be a convict? I'd take it elsewhere. I wish you and your family ALL the best, brother.

so do i take my family with me when i run away crying? my wife, my son, my mother-in-law? what about my parents who live across town? do i never see them again? my brothers and sisters? just up and run away, eh? wouldn't that make me a prisoner the rest of my life? or would i just be being selfish?

i can't believe anyone would run away from having to do some time. unless it was for murder or child molesting. it just makes no sense to me.

thank you for the kind wishes. it does help to know i have a lot of support. :)

You, Sir, are correct. I have none of those things, so it is easy for me to sit here and say them. My wife and I are looking to get out of the US. We have no other family. Sorry if I caused you any more grief. I'll STFU now.

funny,my wife was suggesting we leave the country as well. She suggested the Netherlands lol, she doesn't burn very often, like once a year maybe, but is pro cannabis. I suggested somewhere in S America but she knows I like those women too much and shot that idea down. This is all very preliminary and subject to change. Sometimes it's just fun to throw things out there...

Many times bad things happen to good people. But, I know too many truly bad people who enjoy the best in life. THAT is why I do not believe in Karma. There is a reason there is the cliche "only the good die young".

To help someone, or go out of the way for someone makes me feel good, and makes them feel good. It's a win win.
