Ordered 3 Different Strains - Anyone Try These?

Hey all I just purchased 3 different strains to try out after my second grow is finished in a couple months. Im just looking to get some feedback on how they grow and what not!

1) Next Generation NY Purple Diesel - Feminised
2) Reserva Privada Skywalker OG Kush - Feminised
3) Emerald Triangle Super Sour OG

if you get a good LSD out of the pack (which is not a guarantee) then you will be pleased.
i believe the same goes for the tangerine dream. you can get some nice seeds, but you can get some bad ones.

I grew super sour OG and LSD. Not very happy with either of them. The super sour OG looked great, but the main cola was insanely large and ended up getting mold inside while other mold resistant strains did not go moldy.

The LSD grew great but was a very sub par smoke. Maybe it was just the phenos I got. Would not recommend either based on my grows. Hopefully they turn out better for you though. Good luck.

those two smoked very similarly when i tried them with LSD being more compact and MB being more stretchy. i'm bookmarking this as i'd like to hear your report on how they smoke and smell, especially if you grow them under a halide. i found both had nice enough highs to start with but really annoying creeper stones that i just had no use for. one's stone was more in the eyes, and the other in the body, but otherwise, very similar. i'm hoping for a confirmation on that to beat haters over the head with.

as to the next gen and reserva privada, those should be good as both breeders are respected and i think emerald triangle is legit too, though i've never grown any of their stuff yet. areport on EVERYTHING would be appreciated. one can never have too much info on how strains smoke.

for sure will keep everyone updated on the grows, unfortunately I don't have a halide, Ill be using CFLS but I believe it's a solid setup with a proper mixed spectrum and will do the job fine. you most likely will see different grow journals for theses baby's

Well, at least your first order was worth while.

GHS's Trainwreck sucks. It's the real cut, but S1's are herm city. The original cut is herm city if you're not a good gardener.

Tangerine Dream probably has more negative grow reports than any other strain I've ever seen.

LSD might treat you ok if you're lucky.

Can't comment on Kannabia.

Get those Gage Green in the ground ASAP imo. #2 for me would be the Next Gen. Heard very mixed reviews about the Skywalker.

Long story short is you should ignore cup wins (completely), advertising (completely) and research the shit out of these here forums (and others).

So many people come here after the fact. The reality is you're gonna be so much happier coming and doing the research before the purchase. That means forum diving.

got skywalker going now. just starting flower. i HEAR its one of the best OG strains your can get.

there's almost as many ways to grow weed as people doing it. if you're using flourescents, then you'll definitely have a full spectrum at the very least.

one of these days, when i have a head stash, i want to try a SCROG grow of something impractical like a 12 week strain grown under shoplights as close as possible to the screens just to show it can be done for those who don't have the money for lights and ballasts, or that want a system that's easier to set up and tear down. one of the advantages to doing it that way is you could start with just one light, and then just add more as needed as your plants fill deeper into your screens AND do a poor man's light mover where you space your lights 1 empty space apart and move them each day to get maximum coverage with minimum watts.

It's listed as finishing at 8 weeks, mine went 14+. I don't mind the breeders flowering claims being a rough guide, but wtf?...so-so harvest as well.
And this won a cannabis cup?
On the other hand, the few people who've had a good one with this, that I've talked to anywaze, rave good things about both growing and smoking it.
So it seems a bit hit and miss...
But, in my opinion, if a strain is a bit hit and miss then breeders should f%&k off selling them until they have some kind of balance...

Super sour OG was a major letdown. One pheno had a huge cola that got moldy before finishing everytime but only smelled ok anyway. The other pheno smelled great and was hermi as fuck. I have some great skywalker though.

But it is a serious pain in my ass. Very fragile and sensitive strain with several pheno's that have a variety of feeding regimes. If you do not have patience or experience under your belt.. save yourself the utilities, and headache.

The Sativa pheno was the one that I was wanting to keep around the most, but it is also the worst one out of all of them I have gotten. Very delicate to adjustments in the nute regime, I have personally fought the Cal/Mag battle since it was 3 weeks old; it is now 11. I have recently decided that I am just going to chop it tomorrow and be done with it, as I have Super Lemon Haze and Space Queen en route.

The Indica pheno is much better, very leafy, but better. Super skunk smell, with killer side branches that actually become apical to the main stem, it stopped growing at 11 inches and decided it'd rather grow horizontally- this means several "main" colas, without topping or FIMing. I am going to flowering this one very soon, hoping for a fruity taste to compliment the pungent skunky smell.

I definitly will have a look thanks for your 2 cents.. im in my second grow right now, first was a bagseed and harvested 25gs dry, 3 days into this bagseed grow to try and make a few changes. Bought these seeds incase this grow fails or after when im ready haha
