Induction Lights? The newest (supposedly) technology in Induction Grow Lights

Kon have you used the 5000k ones. I got a 300w 5000k lvd. Waiting for the hood to get here. I asked them if they have a par rating and they said they would get back to me next week. But they referred me to inda gro with a pdf article talking about high par inductions and how inda gro has the highest par of any induction.

And lowoot I have smoked many a triched up bud that was rock hard and it sucked...and have smoked many sativas with little to no"frost" that would make you see shit and would have you crying to come down...NO dipshit you can NOT tell potency from looks or smell...

I still would like to know what I did to you lownoot to have caused you to say these stupid remarks to try to make yourself look better when my pics and test reports prove you are wrong about my growing and product

Yes, this is technically true. Smell is more indicative of the oil ratios, and you could have big fat trichromes with the cap big, juicy and ripe with low amounts of THC in them.

But smell and looks are certainly representative of overall quality and overall quality of the plant certainly does affect potency.

So your statement is partially incorrect.

btw I have no need to provide falseness...he was the one bragging about how great a grower he is...not me I merely proved my points...as to harvest windows I go by this:

There was nothing wrong with the large bud which was a super skunk and though not my type of smoke was potent and right on the mark...plenty of red pistils beneath the white...maybe the article will help you understand...peace

The Chinese are referring a buyer to a US manufacturer (call it what you will, IG specs their own phosphor blend) of induction lamps? LVD knows damn well they don't produce those lamps for Inda-Gro. Someone in China is going to be in for a serious talking to. Doubt they'll make that little comment again.

From lvd and best in green solutions. Both basically said starting out that they are not in the habit of promoting other companies and competition. Then gave me a link to an article. then said ig has the highst par. So ....... I was just re-iteraing what was stated.

Couldn't tell you 4 sure. 5000k usually makes an ok veg light but not much in the way of flower. Having to relamp an induction is a pain in the butt.

Well daryll said theirs are at 4850k. Close to 5000k.. With led, par t5, etc.... Mixing of reds, blues, yellows, and greens creates a 4000k to 5500k. Thats usually about what you aim for with a balanced spectrum from my understanding.

Ok yes I have used a 5000k one

The lamp in question was my 200w Brightmax its a rectangle type it was in its full weather proof casing I used it outside one night to light up the garden when me and a mate did some bits for my grow.

It lacks some red but is very bright I used my 3 way tester on it and the gauge pop`s all the way over to 2000 when your around 12 inch`s away from the lamp from memory this was also with the 2nd glass screen on it.

It should only have a bit less red then the 3000k but it could have a bit more uvb, are you planing to use it with some leds or something ? It should be similar to a 400w MH but you can let the plant get to around 3 to 6" from the lamp as you probably know inductions work best when allowed to heat up a bit so always put your extract over your induction lamp and not under it that allows heat to build up in the hood and let`s them fully light up.

I`d flower under one like it was a 400w hps if you add some red led to it then you could probably match a 600w hps for around 350w if you add more then 50w of red led then I`d start to add a little blue led too but no point adding any uv as the induction has enough you could add a little IR but I`m not sure you need it just good old cheap 630nm should do the trick with most strains.


Ah yes LVD I had a bit of a chat with them here`s a funny bit of "chinglish" it`s kind of what ended up making me like brightmax and another company called "sunshine.......... something or another

Now after he started quoting me $300 for shipping on a tube for my lamp I picked a fight with him by asked "Your boss invented the Induction Lamp" ? So is your boss`s name Tesla ? can I speak to him ?

Then brightmax came back with a much cheaper quote but Sunray probably make some of the better "grow" induction stuff in china.

Looking back Sunray wanted $410 usd for a 400w induction light shipped to the uk that was without a hood

I found some info I was given but can`t think how to get a pdf on here using what programs I have on my computer hopefully these links work

Notice how the 6349k and 2832k both spike at around what 560 and 640 ? but the 2832k`s spike is larger on the 640 then the 6349`s is and it`s drop on the 560 is not as much so it`s a straight swap of a bit of 560 for a fair bit more of 640

So adding some 630nm leds will make your 5000k closer to a 2800k assuming that all you need to make 5000k is a bit less of a blue shift then what you need to make 6349k I`d guess you need something like 20% to 40% more red to make the most out of the rest of the spectrum if you have a 5000k and you want to flower under it.
