Nah man I'm not killing people's pets and don't remember even joking about it. Im not a bad person. These are strays and they are everywhere. No different in my mind than poisoning rats in my garage.

Who said I live anywhere near a shelter? There are so many of these pests it would be a once or twice daily trip. Unless of course I saved em all up and took in 20 once a week.

Well the fact that you have neighbors living close enough to call him the old man a few houses down, I'm pretty sure there is a shelter near by. They are all over the place!

You said it seems like there is a 1000 running around... Obviously there is no where near that many running around. If you would have to drive 20 cats a week to the shelter but instead buy ammo because it's cheaper, you must be shooting at 20 cats a week. With all the ones you've shot, seems the numbers should be dropping and your problem should be going away. Why do you still have that many cats? either you are a terrible shot (you say one shot one kill but then say the wounded ones should tell the others. So much for one shot one kill... HUH?) or your methods are ineffective.
I'll say it again... WoW... Must be hard times if you cat afford gas to the shelter!

Yes, you are killing people's pets! I'm sure half or more of the cat's I've trapped are neighborhood pets and not just strays, but they have to follow the same laws as dogs or get treated as strays.

No they aren't pets and it isn't cruelty. I know for a fact 90% of them die instantly. A dark foggy morning may lead to a bad shot oh well. And if you had heard me its more than poop and flowers. They are strays that run the streets. They are probably diseased. They have fought my dogs before and hissed at my kids. Fuck em. You won't make me feel bad about it. I'm not the asshole that bragged about killing over 400 cats for the simple fact I don't like them. I feel I'm justified in it. It's more about protecting my property, my kids and my dogs than killing animals for my own sick pleasure.

We kill feral cats all the time. They carry diseases and decimate the local bird population. They're an introduced species that is driving native species to extinction. Feral cats carry fleas that can transfer bubonic plague to pet cats and on to humans. Don't blame us for having to control an ecological disaster. Blame the idiots that have pet cats and refuse to have them spayed or neutered. We're the ones that have to waste time and resources on eliminating an out of control issue.

I fucking hate cats, but still can't agree with you! The fact that you feel justified in it, doesn't make it so. I've thought about killing them instead of taking them to the kennel, but I'm not a sick fuck that actually kills things because I'm to lazy to find another solution to the problem.
