I have recently acquired my mass "card" and am new to the caregiver system. I have called a couple people that I found online and it always sounds so sketchy. "Let's meet at a restaurant or bar." How am I supposed to know if it is some guy selling who knows what at street prices. I got my "card" because,due to my epilepsy, I NEED it. Is there a better way to find someone and how can you verify they are legit? I am legal now and don't want to feel like I am doing something wrong. I appreciate all your help!

Most people wont want to invite randoms to their own home..Meeting in a public place is best..You meet talk details prices and strains and your specific needs and go from there..If it doesn't sound good to you you carry on..Also RI does accept MA cards but thats just to have your medicine,NOT to use RI centers when they open OR sign RI residents as your caregiver.People also assume a CARD gets them $100ozs donation requests vary.Here in RI 200-280 is the average,to an assigned patient.

please learn how to spell before you post so people don't think everyone in ri is fuckin stupid, although with the shit posted around here that would be very hard to prove! :sad:

"verify" & "legal" would be the correct spelling you were after.

Try using a period after your sentences and capitalize your letters at the start of one... its a forum not someone English class.

Thanks JD. That makes more sense...I guess I wouldn't want some random dude showing up to my house either lol. I understand medicine costs money, I wasn't looking for $100 oz or a hand out. Just interested in meeting honest people .
