Honestly you handled beans too much...it hurt the delicate rooting's hair...i believe it damaged the hairs, lost the vigor to grow. For best thing is to let bean stay in the soil, it will come up in bean's time or not, who knows.

I know everyone have a different way with germinate beans. For myself , i always have 100% rate of germination.

just soak the beans with tap water for overnight then plant direct into soilless medium, no dome needed. The beans will sprout range from 1 to 10 days. keep surface moist, not dry out and if you see the surface soil is about to dry out , just use spray to mist on it till its moist.

Hope this will help and good luck, buddy.

happy gardening

It's probably just waiting to see what fun event you have lined up for it next. Have you ever successfully grown a pot plant?

i agree you are handeling them way too much. i go directly into soil. handle them once. moving them around is doing them no good at all, i would leave it where its at. keep it moist and warm and hope for the best.

Ya lol...uve never seen me on here?
thats nice flowers you got there...then why bother to post here if you know what you re doing ?

If you feel that beans are dub or poor germinate that at breeder s fault then email to the store that you bought seed from or contact to the breeder about his beans...ya know we dont help anything with any breeders's beans but we can only is give you a good tip to grow your good meds.

Peace.

i just got critical 47 too. i sowed it on the 22st of Jan in soil and Per-lite along with some other seeds. Evening if the 25th they all broke ground. i had the cups sitting on a heat pad in my bath tub. I set one big clear propagation dome over the cups and a thermostat in the center. I also used towels to help insulate the sides. The temp were around 86 without dome / 96 with dome at night and 90 without dome and sometimes up to 103 during the day with dome. I didnt get a soil temp. They are on day 2 24w t5. But I bought from attitude also and question some of the quality and control of some of the sellers advertised there. I got a free seed that was totally crushed. Nothing else in the package from any other seller was damaged. Maybe it was damage en route or maybe that's why it was a bonus seed.broke ground 25 jan.jpgDSC_0512.jpgDSC_0495.jpgDSC_0499.jpg

Try EZ-GROW Pods. I use them in a propagator just touching bottom to the water, up to 1/4 inch no more. 3 days after putting in the propagator. As you see I only put them in 1/8th inch deep into hole in pod and tear a very small piece of pod from corner an put it over the hole for darkness.
The pods with no sprouts have not been seeded.
Very little handling of the seeds that way.

Looking good. CAUTION tho, over 90°F is a killer.
I made the blunder myself.
Only killed 1 of 4 but super stunted growth, 3 very slow growing plants.
Took a month to repair the damage.

Might of been a thick walled seed..
Or it may of been old stock considering it a freebee..
Sometimes you have to scuff old or thick walled seeds ..
I use a small match box and line it with a fine sand paper. Put the seeds in and shake gentially side to side .. this will thin the seeds up making it easier for them to pop

Edit:: theres no real way to check for thick walled seeds, so i gentilly scuff all my seeds if i know they are old or if i had a bad germ rate with a certian batch
