I've been a Colorado MMJ patient for a few years, and have been reading this site for all my guidance. I've never posted anything before, but I've lurked and learned and thought it was about time you get to see what I'm growing. I currently run two rooms, with three plants each.
The veg room has a 400w MH and 4 65w 6500k CFLs in a small closet. The three plants from left to right are Purple Diesel, Durban Poison, and Blueberry. They're all in Foxfarm soil and I've only used a bit of Big Bloom on them. They've been vegging for about 2 months on 18/6. The Purple Diesel is stretchy, but I've topped it a few times and now have a good number of tops all at the same level. The Durban doesn't seem to like the LST as much, but it's coming along. I think it's a bit more sensitive to the nutes than the others; it's slightly overfertilized with rougher leaves. The Blueberry is loving the LST; staying low and filling in really nicely. I think these have 3-5 weeks left vegging while the ones in the flower room finish.
The flower room has a 1000w HPS. I hung it in the back of my laundry room. There is no ventilation set up, but the room is large enough to not get too hot. It's in the basement and actually doesn't even get as warm as it should. The two in the back that look like one big plant are OG Kush. The one in the front is a mystery plant. When I got the clones the grower didn't know what strain it was. The OG has characteristically lower yield. It might look like a lot in the pictures but it's no where near as much per plant as the mystery. The OG made really tight dense cola buds, but a lot of garbage popcorn as well. I should have cut more off the bottom of them; a shorter canopy would have helped this strain focus on the important stuff. There is almost no smell to the buds on these plants. The mystery plant buds are very heavy and dense. It's VERY arromatic, with a fruity, grapey, almost bubblegum sweet smell. One of the best smelling plants I've ever grown. All three plants having been getting the 6 part Foxfarm treatment. To get an idea of the size, the canaopy on the OGs is about 2.5x3 ft, and the mystery is about 1x4ft.
I think the mystery has 2-3 weeks left, and maybe 4 or 5 on the OG. I switched them to 14/10 on Nov1 and that started the mystery flowering. The OG didn't start until Nov 10 when I changed them over to 12/12. I've heard the OG can take 80-90 days so I think I'll just let it go and see what happens.
I'll keep this thread updated with new pics as they finish.
Thanks for checking out my grow!
