Ppm?

lolll. so would you say a ppm meter for soil is useless? or worth the money, and time to use it?

Parts per million refer to the total disolved solids in a solution; normally a hydroponic solution. Soil is not a solution. You can test the PPM of your run off water but what that is going to tell you I don't know. When I'm growing organic I don't worry about such things. I mix my soil up right and then I don't have to worry about it from there. It is very dificult to change a soil once its mixed and a plant is in it. If it isn't right how do you fix it?
