i'm definitely in the "respect their power" camp.

i couldn't tell you the names of the guns i have fired, because they hold almost zero interest for me. but i have been out to the desert with my dad and his friend and we have shot lots of guns, some which nearly took my shoulder off. it's been about 15 years since those trips though.

i learned gun safety at a very early age in boy scouts when we would fire little pea shooters. i was not the best shot in the group, but never the worst.

i prefer archery more. and i prefer darts over archery if that tells you anything.

there's a very fine line between "respecting their power" and "fear". i can honestly say that i have a bit of fear when pushing a thin cut through my table saw. a healthy fear. i don't want my fingertip being taken off.

my only real fear is a fear of heights, but only manmade heights. i can stand at the edge of the grand canyon and be fine, but don't put me on the 25th floor of the hotel.

Waco....Oh ya... thats the place where the feds showed up for a gun fight and got out guned.....It did not start or end well.....IMO...

And that guy was a wackO.......But I do believe thats what the feds are looking at if they ever decide to take peoples guns away....They had to call in the national guard with tanks and stuff, That won't go over to well in most neighborhoods.................nitro..
