Anything that seals completely and doesnt "breath"hey dudes, for curing - do i need GLASS jars specifically ? or can i use like plastic air tight tupperware containers ??? or is like glass/mason jar a must? thanks!
i have my fans running constantly , theres not much i can do there to extract humdity dude, i mean theres no lights no nothing in there, just 2 intake and 1 exhaust fan running constantlyi would want the RH about 10% lower, hopefully you still have fans running
its just not drying evenly. I noticed that the drying process can be very specific to the nugs you harvested. Sounds like they dried on the outside and too much air is moving by for the moisture to even out fast enough. yes, turn off one of the fans, and check on them again in a few hours. The idea is to fill the space with dryer air, the buds let out the moisture at a nice even rate, and as the RH starts to rise above 50% or so, the fan kicks on and air gets replaced with dryer air... something like that... sorry for the half assed response.is it possible to air dry to quickly?!!?!?!?!? i checked my buds this morning... they honestly feel like ready to go??? should i weight it , how do i check for certain??? i think i should turn off 1 of those fans in there or something... help please! if its ready, should i take them down now or what??? a
and dude, scientifically my box replaces its air at almost 20x per minute, the ventilation in there is absolutely wicked. i think thats my problem. and ideal RH humidity during drying i did a bunch of reading is like 45-55%. and RT in between 70-80f. i just have to believe my fans are the problem.... to much vent, not enough weed LOL
u can hear it snap, but it doesnt split in half, and ... okay? im just letting you know my situation bro....alright nevermind then... good luck.
Toss it in jars asap, leave it there for 12 hrs or around there and check it to see if the moisture has come back to it. It should. Depending how damp it is in a day will determine how long you burp your jar, if its real moist leave the jar open for like an hour or even take it back out to dry more. I dont know who said dry it with 10% humidity or have three fans on it but that was bad advice BTW. You want it to dry slowly. Not fast. Burp your jars according to the moisture that comes out when theve sat in there for a bit. If theyre damp, burp for an hour every day, if theyre dry just replace the stale air and reseal. Youll be fineu can hear it snap, but it doesnt split in half, and ... okay? im just letting you know my situation bro....

alrighty wicked advice well there still hanging ill take a peak in an hour or so and make my decisions thanks dudeYup, tupperwares fine. Lightly squeeze it to check for moisture. It should come back and it might not have been ready for jars so you just open er up and let it dry more if this is the case. You just dont want it to go mouldy so dont leave it to long if its still damp.
