You dont necessarily want to wait until there are deficiencies by any means. Plant mass grows in relation to root mass. As the plant fills the horizontal and vertical space above ground so it does below, I would start feeding it just prior to it being of the same volume of the pot itself, or transplant then, and start nutes at 1/4 strength. I wouldnt FIM or Top the plant until after the 2nd or on the 5th nodes.... if you pinched/cut it, then its going to be a lil stunted and redistribute its energy to grow in a different way, that takes a few days and it should return to growing a regular rate (probably around the next time your pot dries out, which will be sooner this time).Yes I did water yesterday, it was the first time watering since I planted her, the top was dry but you could feel by the weight there was still some moisture in the mix. BTW not sure you can see it in the pic but I did try to FIM, but I think I FIGI'd(Fuck I Got It) instead, time will tell. So roots at the bottom would be a sign its time to transplant or the plant filling out the top of the pot or both? And I will watch for nutrient defiencies for starting nutrients.
Thanks
