noice. ya mon, get cutting them thangs- maybe you can show me how its done? im having issues.

i just finished feeding my clones - they're starting to show signs of nutrient deficiencies (finally) here around day 8 or so.. maybe they'll be forced into rooting.

they're at 230 ppm equal parts of GH Flora Gro/Micro/Bloom, and a tiny bit of superthrive.. which i thought might help them root some, but so far, nothing.

the closest thing to a root ive seen is a jello-like goo that has formed at the very bottom of some of the clones.

nice cloner bucket, your clones look super happy. i was thinking to myself earlier that perhaps one of the reasons my clones arent doing so well is because the mother is in an oxygen rich environment, and the clones are just sitting in un-oxygenated water. in any case i need to buy a cloner or try to make one like that soon if i dont see some roots soon.

Hey Hornet....

If you make a clone bucket you will not regret it ......I hardly ever have a clone die on me......You can make a bucket for less than 35.00 and that includes the pump....If you do make one let me know and I will give you the correct hole size ...........nitro..

what do you use to hold the clones in place? just styro foam circles? ive got some extra air and water pumps just laying around so all id need is that material you use to hold them in place, and a circular hole saw like you were saying... yea dude if you dont mind giving me the materials you use i might run over to Casa_de-pot and snag em..

Hey.....

I use the thick soft plugs they are 2" inches , and the hole size is 1 5/8ths inches.....That way you have a nice tight fit, and the plug will stay in the lid.....There are some thinner plugs that are firmer also, and they did not work....so try to get the thick soft plugs........

I put a drain hose fitting near the bottom of the bucket for draining.....You can see that I have two buckets tee'd together that is real handy for draining and filling with nutrient ....

So the most important thing is the soft 2 inch plugs going into a 1 5/8ths hole......and you are good to go....just rig the pump to splash water up against the water tight lid......

My mother plant was abused and almost froze to death, but it came back to life and I think the clones will make it.......I use tap water that is about 75ppm with a PH around 7.2, Then I add 2 tablespoons of liquid clonex baby food to 4 gallons of water....and that brings my PH down to about 5.9 with 380ppm.....Lighting is a 90w UFO and I have to say it works really good for clones......

can you get those plugs at homme depot? or where do you get them? thick and soft, like i like my women..

im scrambling now, got all my reservoirs and air-rings bleached/cleaned, and ready.

H. Depot doesnt have em, you were right. i got some foam padding that is used for insulating pipes, its thin and shitty but maybe i can glue them to the top of the bucket or something. the only other thing they had was carpet padding - which i actually think would work better than this stuff.

how long does it normally take for your clones to root?

Just over a week the roots start to grow......sometimes a little longer........after three weeks if all goes well I will have a nice root ball about 8 to 10 inches long.......nitro..

damn.. i forget how long the babies take to get going. thanks for the clone bucket help dude, i got mine going last night and, if i was a clone, i would happily live in this thing!
- i didnt have that soft, pretty padding like you, so i had to improvise with some glue and duct tape. and in the hopes of keeping things simple, (until i can get some thicker foam padding like yours) i didnt use the water pump, just an air pump and two air stones. as soon as i can, i will put the water pump in there.

aww nooo... i love hydroton. i still have like half a 20lb bag, hopefully that'll be enough, although hydrocorn sounds pretty cool too. hmm..corn grown hydroponically.. delicious, or crappy i wonder?

i still have to; hang my lights back up, rebuild my intake filter, buy and assemble my new exhaust system, design and build a new exit filter, modify my scrog and reassemble - this is if all goes well. we all know how unforeseen crap gets in the way.

im hoping by the 12th or 14th i will have the rooted clones in boot camp.

Hey, Scrooge! Buy those neoprene collars for the aeros from Amazon. I gave up the Alabama engineering bit and ordered replacements and it's way easier. I reuse mine as I take my clones and suspend them in their big McD glass all drilled out and fill around the roots with my pumice/rock/glass. No rockwool, no neoprene collar - just the plant lovin' the rocks.

Been watching you and Nitro. Will be posting some pics and details soon of my White Label White Skunk in a 5 gallon DWC that is kicking ass and taking names. Keep it up guys!

BTW got the seeds from Sea of Seedss in some kind of mixup on their part. I ordered 10 regular Mazar i Sharifi seeds (Ace Seedss) and was expecting them and the freebies. Got the Mazars as ordered and the freebies too but 10 WL White Skunk seeds sent stealth and I did not use a card so my order was not saved by them so no idea if they are feminized buy the one I dropped is female. Took 20 clones from her and all survived and are thriving. What an easy plant to have grow like hell and flower like a mother! Meeting up with 2 other AK growers in a few days to give them some clones. It grows like a weed and clones like a dream.

Someday try the recycled glass bits. They work like a charm but are kind of heavy. I just like the idea of using as much recycled as possible in this day and age.
