tldr- I could only make it through the first page.

If you are only getting 10 ounces from a 1000 watt light, you are not as good a grower as you think you are.
If your weed was good, someone would buy it.

Prices are much lower here in CO and you would get offered much less if you could legally sell here.

I can not understand why someone would be mad at getting turned down by multiple people. You should be mad at yourself, not the media or the dispensaries.

Either grow better weed or learn to handle the clash between expectations and reality better.

What about a hard to get strain of some sorts? Maybe find a crazy pheno that few got available to them? Ever think about maybe breeding out a cool ass cross and sell it as your own "strain". I know this ain't easy, just throwing out ideas cause to make the big bucks ya gotta do something to separate you from the rest of the pack bro....

Hello RUI, I am fucking furious right now. So I started growing about a year ago, with money signs in my eyes hearing numbers like 2800-3200 a lb... I started small with just a 400w in my closet and then gradually kept stepping up until I got to the setup I have now which is a 600 and a 1000 in a small room(not using the 400 atm) in a perpetual grow. So this last harvest was a personal best at 10 ounces off the 1000... I know I can do better but its only like my 4th time. And it turned out perfect.. real bomb, I was even able to flush a little more than 2 weeks. So finally feeling confident enough to take my stuff around to the clubs I set out on my adventure. Only to get low ball after low ball... I'm talking super low balls... like a donkey with elephantitis. I had one dude offer me 900 for a half pound... I had one dude offer me 300 for 5 ounces(which would be about 900 a lb FOR FUCKING 100W INDOOR)... the rest just said no thanks. Why do they make this shit look so lucrative in the media and what not.. then you start growing and it seems impossible to even make what it cost you to fucking grow it...

So what the fuck? Anyone else have this same experience? Am I just going to the wrong places? Why does this shit feel like a pyramid scheme-type scam to me? I swear to god every place I was in had more vendors than customers waiting and they were all the same age as me with the same nervous hopeful look on their face.

I also took the liberty of checking out a lot of the places "top shelf" shit and mine could easily just as good or better. I even took the time to dry it slow and cure it a little. I had a dude tell me they would only sell my stuff for 25 an eight... then I go look at the menu and I see 450/oz 450/oz 420/oz 420/oz 400/oz 390/oz 380/oz 360/oz 350/oz then like 250 for generic outdoor shit... So are they aloud to do this? Just lie to people?

Plus aren't they non profit? How the fuck do all these places charge tax??? Why is it they can (supposedly) buy a pound for 900-1800 of indoor then go sell it for like 4500 minimum... Thats price gouging... The average gross profit any company makes on a product is 60% more like 7% if you want to talk about net profit... But these fucking guys are turning shit around for at least 200% gross profit? AND they don't pay taxes cuz they are non profit? That just seems criminal to me...

So I guess there's a lot there... But I'm starting to feel like all the fuckin drug dealers just moved into cannabis clubs... act like its some booming industry that needs all the growers and suppliers it can get... They show nice little wholesome mom and pop growers on fucking csnbc and msnbc specials and shit who "oh gee golly were just down on there luck and started growing then everything magically worked out..." I think its all bullshit... I think the clubs supply themselves... fuckin trick hopeful people into growing it to make a living as a "vendor" then you go in there and they just spit in your face and dont give a fuck if you come back or not cuz they never needed your fuckin weed in the first place... I bet all these assholes are the same people who own the hydroponic stores... its probably just a big run around scam...

I hope that I am wrong and have just been unlucky in my selection... but I have invested so much into this and it was kinda like a last house on the block effort for me to do something with my failure of a life. I'm about to go straight denzel washington in this mother fucker

I'd say a lemon or chocolate that is REALLY lemon and chocolatey might do.... Something extra frosty? Gotta have something that is just better than the same-old everyone has - otherwise what's the point? Also, you might be sitting on your own stash for awhile... Guess what? Now your stash is getting a better cure. Have you tried any breeding yet?

Nah no breeding yet, still just 1 strain at a time. I've been running Abusive OG for the last few rounds. When I was just running the 400 in my closet I was doing Blue Dream. Which came out soooooo goood.... I swear to god I barley had a chance to dry it before my friends bought all of it. I don't know why I ever stopped that strain. I think because it was already so popular I felt like I would have a hard time beating out other growers with the same strain

So I went to the club and got the Abusive... which actually turned out to be 2 different strains, and I'm not even sure if one is Abusive OG... Plus Im super bummed cuz I thought I did a good job drying in stuff.. but its about 3 weeks (give or take) into jar cure and I swear its starting to taste worse..... I'm worried I stuck it in jars too soon and it got mildewy.... I really feel like I didn't though... I waited till the outsides of the nugs were dry but still had a little give when you squeezed them.. and I burp the jars every day and all that good stuff.... i dunno man... this shit can be so frustrating

Yep, hear ya... but just take a step back and relax... Plan a new attack. Take clone from every plant right before flower and if that donor plant is da fire, keep her... To sell to the clubs, u need only the best of the best - nothing short will do unless you are willing to give it away like they want you to... Also, go to a couple clubs, see what they got, make friends and even buy a little here and there, get to know the owner/mgr. If you are on a good relationship with the club and bring them fire that they don't have - I'm betting they'll treat you a little better. If your giving them stuff that their employees are prolly already supplying them then they wont bite...

I do talk to the other vendors although most seem like they don't really want to talk. One dude who was vending outdoor offered to buy it, but I would had to like go with him and his friend and I was a little over that....

It's all about who you know - unless you got something hard to come by... I imagine if someone had a good cut of GSC, they'd have no trouble finding a home for it... Same with East Coast Sour D... If you do a little searching for more exotic strains, I'll bet you could get ur foot in the door... I always wanted Heath Robinson's Black Rose but was too slow ordering the seeds - now it's off the market... But I know people got the genetics stashed.
