Will my plants grow too tall and when to start flowering?

I am 1 month veg with Super Silver Haze and Jack Herer
they reach 9'' now,my question is if i veg for one and half month more (thats 2 and half month of veg total),will they outgrow my 7' tent
They are in 10 gall smartpots
600w Dual Spectrum
24/0 cycle
There are some pre-flower pistils already showing
Other question is when is a good idea for me too start the flowering for a decent yield?

veg another 1.5 months... did you take any clones or have a mother plant?

Agree with Cobra. Take clones soon so you can harvest a lot all at once or close to it.

And top your plants to keep overall height slightly less than if left untopped. More bud this way too.

Only 9 inches at a month? Both strains can grow tall, and they should be taller after 4 weeks. I'm guessing not enough light, but who knows. You can always pinch them or maybe bend them if necessary but they will grow tall if you let them.

You mean to create siblings around plants?,won't they be shaded by bigger plants

Temperature was a factor,I'm struggling to maintain 22 C (71 F) even with spiral heater and exhaust turned of for half of a time,thats why they are not bigger,but they are bushy

My temps are always between 68 and 76. You should be good at 71.

I know but sometimes it dropped to 50 F,so it probably stunted 'em a few times

Yup, 50 degrees is way to cool. Night temps shouldn't be more than 10 degrees cooler than daytime........... I'm always at 12-15 inches after a month with my hybrids. Both your strains will grow tall....

If the resevior is on the floor like concrete, put a few books under it to keep the cold concrete from touching it if it is. If not consider a digital water heater like for a fish tank. You can set it to 68-70 degrees and it will turn on and off when it gets cold and then off when it gets to the right temp.
