which one was that? the one, retiredmatthebrute was making on my old thread?
Probably him. The double helix )deep metallic blue) went from lower right corner back towards the upper left corner. 'Brand' was to the left of the DH. I suggested changing the color of just that section of the parallel helix to form the X but in a different color

RE Wash & Dry Seeds: I didn't put the pieces of the puzzle together until the 3rd seed refused to open its cotyledons. Upon reflection, neither did the other 2. Clearly most of the material that feeds the taproot + cotyledon was destroyed in the wash & dry.

After such a rough start, not sure what to expect. They could be Zombies

haha they are definitely back from near death but actually to me that a testament to their strength. i bet you probably get some keepers if they can pull through that i grow for resilience.

I went out for a couple hours. When I got back and checked, #3 was laying over. Turns out the tap root was in a j shape, coming out the same hole as the stem. I opened the hole wider and gently pushed it down. No guarantees on this one, but the others are chugging along. Pretty decent root system developing in the bubbler. Pics by Wednesday

alright i think im pretty much caught up. everything is looking great Poly!!

i noticed you wanted a cheap nutrient. I know you said you dont want complicated but this is what i use

http://www.amazon.com/General-Hydroponics-Box-Starter-Kit/dp/B004PS4B08/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1359989025&sr=8-1&keywords=general+organics+go+box

for 35 bucks you get both bloom and veg nutes, there is about 8 bottles in all 1 bigger bottle of bloom and a bigger bottle of grow and then all smaller bottles. either way its not verry complicated and they seem to work pretty decent. I just started making tea's and using them in the tea instead of just mixing with water and then watering. i think they will go longer if used in a tea as i feel alot of un used nutrients get flushed out. with the tea it allows them to break down and be applied with lots of bacteria and microbes so they break down faster.

i also use Espoma garden tone which is relativly cheap 8 bucks for a 4lb bag its a 3-4-4

http://www.espoma.com/p_consumer/tones_garden.html

it also has lots of life in it so it helps improve soil food web.

and as far as the convorsation about 16oz = 1lb your incorrect sire. it all depends on what your measuring, 16 liquid Oz is a measurment of volume and 16 dry Oz is a measurment of weight so 1 16oz bottle of liquid is a measurment of how much liquid in volume or mass and a 16 oz bag of dry fertilizer is a measurment of how much the fertilizer weights.

anyways i say this because its difficult to compare a liquid and a solid when measuring in ounces.

sure man :) i think im going to stick with my GO BOX it seems to working with my regiment so if it aint broke dont fix it right? though i may try and buy bigger bottles of what i use the most instead of getting all them bottles again.

Hydro is how I roll, and been trimming for years, even in my high pressure aero

That said, there is a difference between 'trimming' and scalping

I believe I read somewhere that you can pinch the taproot and cause major growth similar to supercroping a stem. Is this true?
