The new Area 51 panels are supposed to cover appox 6ft/sq and use 145W.
veg maybe... as many of these companies state the max footprint of their lights for growing when in veg, not bud. for obvious reasons

Use paypal if you order from china. They accept it even though its not on their website. Just ask who ever you talk too. You are protected with pay pal.
I know nothing of leds really, but when I toyed with the idea of experimenting with one,I chose the solarstorm..just my 2 cents

Hello,
do you know: www.purple-alien.com ?
From grower for grower - developed and designed in germany ..

I trust Area 51 because I already own their lights, and they do not exaggerate flowering footprint claims. My AF-240 does 39x39 extremely well to a maximum of 48x48. The new lights are supposed to be twice as efficient as the older series.
Somebody:
lol. Yea, because I havnt been ripped off on LED's in the past 5 years... of course I have! Coverage has ALWAYS been exaggerated, since the beginning of the tech; I am saying, now, that the companies no we are not fools, seem to be making the transition to the truth.
Being that "Area 51" consistently posts on RIU, I do not see him committing business suicide, as the others have, but overstating his specs. I have received an answer to every question I have sent him/them, and have received nothing but answers fulfilled to the best of their ability, down to coverage, umoles, and Helixeon datasheets- these guys know what they are talking about, and I wouldnt see them being "stupid" and blatantly lying about their lights or specs.
As for not knowing what I am talking about, I will be purchasing 2 to 4 of their lights in about 23 days? That right bucuit?
So I will let you know, what I am talking about.
I think that the "highlight" companies of the market, as of right now, are MUCH closer to their actual coverage, and wattage draw for the matter, than even 12 months ago. CLW, apollo, apache, A51, etc.
Do not be steered away from LED's because of the shit companies, look into the one's worth your time.
Look around on here, LED's produce some rock fucking hard nugs, done right.
damn so many options lol... im still trying to decide on what lights to go with... looking to spend about $1000 on 2 lights, and i cant seem to decide where to take my money.
