will the elec bill be noticable if..

i normaly leave my PC on all night, all week, pretty much all the time. my mum moans at me for it anyway,

so, if i turn the pc off all the time and replace the elec for CFL lights, will she notice the difference in cost?

basicly, does it cost more to run CFLs with, lets say the highest light cycle or a PC.

still living with parents atm but moving out soon. so if i can get the veg stage going, then why not

Grow wherever you want, but consider this, does your mom even know what a kilowatt is? There are 6,000 things that can get you caught and electricity is like deep in the 5k range

Wait until you move out -- its jsut stupid to grow in your parents house--- if oyu get caught they are the ones that lose everything, not you .

dont grow. when you move out do it right, buy hps lights, mh lights and builda proper grow area.

if your mom is noticing your computer on she is goign to notice light eminating from werever you put it.

Growing in your own home is all part of the experience, a good thing! Dude, don't grow in your parents home especially if they don't know you smoke. If you get caught the disappointment will diminish their trust in you, possible get you kicked out, or in the worst case scenario call the authorities on you.

the first rule to growing is that everyone who lives with you will find out. Also if your only growing for a month before you move out then your mom wont notice the bill until after your already gone, and cfl's dont even use alot of watts. Then again i dont believe your moving out in a month

ha no way, i cant believe i asked this noob question. it was my 1st grow.

and john400hps, i have moved out now, i started growing cfls in my own home. im now using a 600w hps. check out my journals if u like.

i cant believe i asked if cfls drain that much energy.
