Yep once the feds say it's ok. It's going to happen someday too so we could get our licks in and establish something. If we wait for the feds to say it's ok then we are really going to get pushed out of the picture. If we got the ground floor we'd have a fighting chance.once the feds say ok it will happen. investors and big money operate according to federal laws.
Found it, it was a Aug 2011 Michigan Appeals Court ruling. It pretty much ruled the same thing, dispensaries aren't legal and caregivers can only provide for their registered patients. Lots of people chose to stand up and fight rather than bow down, i hope people are willing to fight for their freedom with this ruling too.Are you thinking of when Bill Schutte put out a directive to close dispensaries down?
Hell yeah brother, i'm with you!My plan has never changed...grow as much as I can n teach others to grow.
Absolutely. The FM was my favorite model outside of self growing patients and caregivers. I've expressed that many times, I also stated the only drawback is that the model is not and was not covered under the act. I was correct according to the SC.You do see the merit in the clubs and the dispensaries and markets though, right? Just to be sure your personal view. it's so unreasonable to me that a person should be attached to another for their meds for so many reason chief being its unreasonable to expect every care giver to be great at all things cannabis to serve their patients with what they specifically need. Also, we can all see the wide variance in quality being put out, why deny patients the best meds because said caregiver is maxed out at 5 patients.
Amen to thatMy plan has never changed...grow as much as I can n teach others to grow.
I think an initiative to allow p2p sales would do the trick and would have a higher chance of passing muster with the general population. The legalization petition went no where. So what's the logical next step?
It seems that either a ballot initiative needs to get underway completely legalizing marijuana like CO and WA just did, or we need to put pressure on lawmakers in Lansing to further clarify the original law allowing for dispensaries and/or P2P transfers.
Which makes the most sense?
There is no such thing as a bud tender in the Act. If they were just taking care of the meds, what law are they violating? I would think the patient or caregiver that hired them would be running a risk letting someone other than the patient or caregiver access to their grow room, but under the act, I don't believe being around a medical grow is a crime.would bud tenders be subject to criminal charges then as well?
Hey Huel. That was the specific case the SC was looking at....lolFound it, it was a Aug 2011 Michigan Appeals Court ruling. the person behind the counter is a 'budtender' they are the ones in possession. Most where caregivers able to possess 15 ounces. There is no such thing as a bud tender in the Act. Pretty pissed I can't give you rep yet again. You deserve it.My plan has never changed...grow as much as I can n teach others to grow.
Yup, and it had little effect at the time and almost no effect at all in the long run. I know the SC trumps all else in the state but I'm hoping we see some more "freedom fighters" stand their ground again and challenge the system.Hey Huel. That was the specific case the SC was looking at....lol
Dr. Bob
Don't worry bro, I repped him for you!Pretty pissed I can't give you rep yet again. You deserve it.
Amen brother! If only the general populace understood such a concept, then there may be true hope for change and democracy ...it's hegilian dialect....if you can understand that then you might be able to grasp what's really going on----
thesis ....antithesis....synthesis
they create the problem....then they offer/sell the solution.....then they rectify/balance the equation....and control the situation--
