Ok so I was going to post this in the Random Jibber Jabber Thread (sorry trolling you can still link it up if you want to) but I felt the need to add the disclaimer.
I don't expect this thread to take off but here it goes

so I'm a Pest Control Technician... haha who am I kidding I'm an exterminator it just sounds cool.
I got an emergency service call for one of my accounts... they have a huge rat infestation that just exploded the other day. So I went out and put a mass trapping program in place. I caught 3 rats yesterday 1 within 5 min. of setting my traps. I went back this morning to check on them... bam 9 caught!!!
i found 6 at first then #7 popped while I was there and eventually found #8 and 9
any way here are the first 6 I found and the rest of the family in a bag. Sorry for the blurry pic of #7

Nah, it's all part of life. Some day, a bigger trap may snap OP, but such is the way everything must work. The Oh, snap was the first time I've ever used it in context. Cuz, the traps snap.

We have a rule around here, goes for mice and anything else that tries to share our place. If you don't set off the motion detectors, or go in my kitchen or bathroom, I won't kill you. You go in the kitchen to eat, it's either good food in a bad trap or poison.

How gross was their house ?
Fortunately not a house... I do commercial work. I did get a lead for a million dollar home and well rats are getting caught there... I'll post a pic of one we caught at the house.... it's pretty funng.

That's alot of rats, are these old school traps still the most efficient way? I don't know much about the business but it seems like someone would have come up with a "super trap" by now.

Rats carry a lot of diseases . These nasty ass animals can start plagues and more. Thanks for your great work.

Yeah, props to the exterminator... Wiping out potential global annihilation one rodent at a time.

Yer job is interesting, I don't understand how it's creepy ... If you brought dresses along, and played barbie, yeah... But just throwing out the trash? Nothing but a job.

Poison probably works better but then you have to fish the bodies out unless you like the smell of rotting flesh.
