Breaker tripping, but why now?

Heat, water heater. Something new has to be on. Or you have developed a short. Maybe just replace the outlet with a better one with a higher amp rating. The ones in most houses are cheapo low rated ones. You might have just overworked it.

How many amps is the breaker?
From time to time, breakers within your electrical panel gets weak or goes bad. This may be caused by a circuit problem that has repeatedly tripped the breaker. An overloaded circuit could be the culprit in this scenario. How many amps are your recepticals? 15amp is pretty standard. you draw a little over 6 amps. Your breaker should be 15amps. I bet its the breaker.

I just got finished running a 20a breaker to my room because the idiot who wired the house, wired the whole 2nd floor on 1 15a breaker (3 bdr and a bathroom). I had to get off the circuit to run my ballast. Nothing like putting 5 holes in ur walls on all floors and using a digital inspection cam to run some 12/3. Dude im beat. Run your own line to a dedicated breaker, you wont be disappointed!

Sweet, I sorta have the same 220v to the auxiliary breaker box, 60amp at the main, split into (2) 30amp breakers at the aux. 20amp receptacles. I've for 2 hot water timers wired in also. Best thing I ever did for the grow room.

I can only comment on what i know about to electrical in the great land of oz! If you have not added any other applience to that circuit (and it doesnt even need to be in that room to be on the same circuit) then the next thing i would check is to see if you have an ELB (earth leakage breaker) AKA an RCD (residual current device). This type of circuit breaker basically detects the amount of power going to an applience and back again (hence a circuit). If an applience is faulty or "leaking power" it will cause it to trip. Its easy to see if you have an RCD. All you have to do is look for a small coloured (usually orange or blue) button on your circuit breaker with a T on it. what happens when you start your ballist on 600 does it trip? Anyways hope this helps get back what your babies are needin!
